what google searches tells us about ron pauls popularity.
I talked to my meetup coordinator recently about glen beck stealing ron pauls thunder with the 9/12 project he said "now is thier time our time will be in 2012". However I went to http://www.google.com/trends to see how many searches were being done on google for ron paul compared to glen beck and I feel that my meetup coordinator was a bit to pessimistic. when i typed in ron paul, glen beck googles graph appeared to show them running neck and neck.
What did surprise me is that sarah palin has been searched more in 2009 than ron paul.
Searches of those terms in different cities showed sarah palin was way more popular (or unpopular) in alaska than ron paul. but her popularity changes dramatically depending on the city in the u.s. Ron Pauls popularity is highest in austin Tx ( thank you alex jones) then miami ( i cant figure that one out). ron pauls popularity is pretty much the same all across the u.s. I don't know what to make of this(im a hack when it comes to trends, and graphs, so check this stuff). Hopefully it means that when 2012 comes we will no longer have to have signs that say google ron paul because everyone knows who he is.
a search under sarah palin, tea party showed slightly more searches for sarah palin.
tea party, ron paul showed tea parties are only slightly more popular in 2010 than ron paul. as a matter of fact when the news media discovered the tea parties for a brief time they were more popular than ron paul ever was. the 'tea party' was more popular in austin tx than anywhere else. MAN, ALEX JONES HAS THAT AREA STIRRED UP! since brought up alex jones hes whipping glen beck big time. A spike in alex's graph appeared the day he had on lindsey graham and again with charlie sheen.
a search for ron paul shows interst may be fading. hes just holding steady. whether it means he has solid supporters on dailypaul doing searches I cant tell. But I do know America is not having a fling with ron paul they are in a committed relationship. sarah palins popularity is not steady. I think its because of media exposure and book releases.
Interst in the n.w.o. has gone up. it showed a big spike in mid to late 2008. alot of interest when Brown mentioned it as well. In 2009 the spikes get erratic. my imagination tells me its because people are waking up and are getting more nervous about it all the time.lol a search under conspiracy theory shows its practically 'off the charts' thanks to venturas ne tv show.
interest in obamacare seems to have gone down alot in say the last 2 weeks to a month.hmm big news on that vote tommorow.
for several months before coppenhagan global warming interest was way down.
climategate had a huge spike then went way down. funny its like i felt like it dropped off the radar screen fast.
Coppenhagen was searched more during the u.n. meeting than it has ever since 2005. lots of interest in that treaty.
A search for daily showed it dipped pretty low recently but thats probably due to the site being down for repairs. Make of this what you will. I hope someone here can get better more insightful information from google trends than i can.

debra medinas graph took off like a rocket after that debate!lets see how it is after a moneybomb.
CONDOM SALES FELL EVERY TIME HELLARY HAD HER UGLY MUG ON T.V.!...not. actually i never searched tha but it wouldnt surprise me.

Miami and Ron Paul
I can venture a guess as to why Ron Paul is popular in Miami. There is a large population there that recognizes fascism because of their history with Castro. They pay more attention to politics than most people and support anyone who espouses freedom from tyrannical government.
Ron Paul - Honorary Founding Father
Interesting, thanks.
Interesting, thanks.
The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.
