Local Candidates...

I wish that other 'local' candidates would take a cue from this. I have brought this up before, but living in Indiana, I can really only care so much about other state races.

Imagine if everyone had their favorite school board candidate posted in 3 different active forum topics... it really isnt that broad of a comparison.

I, personally, have always used the Active Forum Topics as a sort of Glossary. Lately, it seems to have less 'chapters' to choose from, unless I was looking for something Funky and Cold, but I am trying not to name names (and hers isnt the only). Or at least most of the chapters seem to be repeaters.

Candidates don't want to talk about the competition

Although I supported Joe Kennedy, I had no vote in that race. I believe that if a candidate has value his record or his rhetoric will have to stand on its own.

So I grabbed up all the posts and debates figuring that people were smart enough to find what they needed. I knew that is what I wanted so that is what I created.

I was also figuring that 6 months from now someone could review Scott Brown's promises and their own stated expectations with his actual voting record.

Over at the Campaign for Libery the several states are organized by Congressional District. http://www.campaignforliberty.com/
It is also a non-partisan site and might be a good place to create summaries of news and voting records for fellow campaigners in your neighborhood to find. You may even find some of your neighbot already there, or you can invite them join.

As a nationally and internationally active site the Daily Paul is a great testing ground for new ideas and methods. Clearly, the MSM has its own agenda (manipualtion for profit) and not liberty. The question is how to shrink the scope to the local level.

But you know the old saying, "If you want something done right you have to do it yourself"

I just discovered the Bookmark feature here, before this post though. It will be handy tool for tracking those good threads that pass when your not looking.

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!
