The title of your post is misleading. It was more like Beck gave Brown a "tsk" "tsk" "ha ha ha". What I saw was a SLAP IN THE FACE (from both Beck who couldn't keep a straight face and Brown, the sophomoric excuse for a graduate from somewhere) TO ALL THE VOTERS WHO ACTUALLY THOUGHT BROWN WAS A VIABLE ALTERNATIVE...AND THAT BECK IS ON YOUR SIDE!!!!

If so, he's either stupid or a hypocrite. That goes for all of you Brown supporters who are "outraged" at Scott Brown.

BTW, Ruth, I joined the liberty movement, not the Salvation Army. Besides, a lot of women like to be told they are "hot".

from friends and lovers who think of them as people. From random strangers, however, it's a form of harrassment, unless you're a stripper or a hooker, or, I suppose, a hot model or an actress, and being paid to put up with that. Parents are supposed to protect their children. Scott Brown opened the door for any old perverts to ogle his daughters. I stand by my statement he's creepy.

Don't make comments like that unless you were once or currently are an attractive woman in her twenties and know what that's like. Sexism does nothing for our movement. Remember, only 30% of Ron Paul supporters are women, and we need to attract more.

Glenn and others are taking it wayyy too far (a little projection, perhaps?).

I believe it was an absolutely innocent,(albeit a bit naive thing to say in front of national TV cameras) excited family moment. Scott Brown and Gail Huff are obviously very proud of their children.

Just go to YouTube and type in Ayla Brown. You'll get hundreds of hits because she was a recent American Idol finalist. I saw a couple clips where her dad was there with her to celebrate with (or comfort her) when/if she got a yea or nay vote. (But before that, she was singing televised national anthems with the Boston Pops, at sporting events, etc...)

Type in Gail Huff. Until recently, she has been a New England news staple for at least 20 years. She even kicked ass at a NAVY Seal tryout a couple years ago- besting many of the male tryouts! Also, as a 20-something, Gail was featured in a popular MTV video by a local Boston band. Anyone older than 38 will likely remember it on sight: "Girl with the Curious Hand" by Digney Fignus.

So, that family is quite used to the local- and, at times, national- spotlight. And remember, Scott stuck up for his daughter a few years back by having the balls to read back to a high school assembly their OWN WORDS which they used to attack his daughter on Facebook. Yet the MSM spin is that he "swore at school children!"

I also heard about his alleged quip to Mitt Romney about the availability of any more sons, because he'd sell his daughter to him and she'd convert to the Mormon faith. Come on, people- this is banter and nothing else, yet Beck is buying into it.

~~Hey, remember when Kerry's daughter showed her deformed tits to the world via a see-through dress? Pundits speculated she was a tranny with fake parts. Kerry did not say ONE WORD in defense of his daughter.
Remember when his wife handed out ketchup packets for Halloween trick-or-treaters? Not one word about that, either. Remember when Teddy K killed a young woman and his buds swept it under the rug? Huh?~~

Jeez Louise. I'm certainly not a fan of Brown's politics or connections, but at least recognize a genuinely happy and excited doofus who thinks he's doing his grown daughters favors by getting them better known to available bachelors. I don't know what kind of family life most people have had, but where I come from, there's nothing wrong with kidding and ribbing like that- except when the MSM is watching and waiting to tear you apart over it. He'll learn from this, believe it.

He's a pretty common-variety "Pushy Dad" in that respect, only now a very famous one. I cannot fault him for that. The day he loses that jocularity is the day his family has been threatened. That is what we should watch for.

I would have liked for Beck to criticize him on political philosophy...but that might be too difficult for Beck as he doesn't yet himself have a coherent political philosophy.

Exactly. While Beck's in the mood for low blows regarding fathers and daughters, perhaps he should come out and mention that his 23-year old daughter- from his FIRST marriage- is in a wheelchair with cerebral palsy, and his youngest daughter- with his SECOND, much younger wife- is around 9.

Does Glenn Beck envy Scott Brown for having two gorgeous, talented daughters of marriageable age? Or is Glenn Beck merely upset that yet another man, who has no past drug or alcohol addiction, and who proclaims no overt religion, can capture the eyes of so many without spilling fake tears on Fox?
