RP CharityFest ...Probably no one has time for this...but what if all across the country Ron Paul supporters participated in a volunteer "drive" and volunteered at various places and events that need help?
One meet-up group was featured cleaning up park areas and wore their Ron Paul gear while doing so. The local media covered it on the evening news - and yes they DID mention that Ron Paul was running for President.
I don't know if such a big effort could be coordinated or not, but it sounds good on paper, no?
Thoughts?

Charity fest - what a great idea
When I first read the post title, I thought, oh great, another person asking for money. But when I read the post, this made a lot of sense to me. One of the big objections I get from people when I try to get them to vote for Ron is that he just wants to lower taxes so we can selfishly keep more of our own money (actually, what's so wrong with that?) My response is that I can do a better job deciding where to spend my charitable dollars than the government can. This sort of Charity Fest would also help answer that criticism. It shows what we can and will do on our own if the government gets off our backs. This is definitely something to bring up at your meetup groups. Just do it, and if it catches on, we could try to coordinate something later. We'll need lots of great ideas when we get into the general election. I saw the Oprah-Obama event today in Iowa on C-SPAN. He could be tougher to beat than Frudy McRomnabee, but I'll worry about that later.
