Perhaps:
This is the way that Barry can start picking up those other seven states he was talking about. Start with Haiti and move on to where? Cuba?
Dr. Paul is my hero.

I love my country
I am appalled by my government
They almost unanimously voted to "reconstruct" Haiti?
Wow, that's ambitious. They act like they have money.
The Haiti earthquake is to
The Haiti earthquake is to blame for the democrat loss in Massachusetts. The Marxist progressive liberal MSM devoted 100% of their time on fear, mayhem, destruction, and dispare and gave up their opportunity to campaign for their Marxist progressive candidate, and brainwashing the electorate into voting for their candidate.
Thank You MSM and Haiti.
Clean the House!

I Gave Money
If people feel empathy for the Hatian victims they should donate money to one of the many worthwhile charities. Politicians offer these people speaches.
Here is Dr. Paul's statement on Res 1021
http://www.house.gov/apps/list/speech/tx14_paul/Haiti.shtml
It's not what's in the title of the bill,
BILL TITLE: Expressing condolences to and solidarity with the people of Haiti in the aftermath of the devastating earthquake of January 12, 2010,
but that's just the title (who would be against that?)
It's the meat in the bill which Dr. Paul has serious reservations about, and rightly so.
Thanks for this post
The lone voice in the wilderness is, once again, correct. We (our government) have no money to reconstruct Haiti. Let the private sector do it as they are trying to do. The title of the bill is deceitful.
Why would Ron Paul vote no?
I dont see anything about money or anything else, just expressing condolences. http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/bdquery/z?d111:HRes1021:/
Freedom is NOT free!
Hmmm
First we hit them with an earthquake. Then we reroute their aid planes so we can land our military. Then our military begins to occupy the country. Then we hit them with another quake. Then we decide we will rebuild their country which is now ours whether they have asked us to or not. Then we VOTE to say "I'm so sorry for all your deaths." A Government BODY maybe isn't as sincere as individual condolences. 20,000 a day die because they don't have hospitalization. Where are our hospital ships and planes? Hopefully those are there.
Well,
I may be wrong here, but I don't think this is FREE:
"...Whereas once proper surveys and assessments are conducted, the initial and crucial emergency relief response will likely move to a comprehensive mission requiring SUSTAINED ASSISTANCE from the United States and the international community for RECONSTRUCTION AND DEVELOPMENT EFFORTS..."
Of course, it could possibly mean "we" will only use "our" manpower to help rebuild, said manpower on a purely volunteer-work basis, but I don't believe that for one second...
