S 604 and No Bernanke Fax/Email/Phone bomb-Harry Reid!!!

So, how about we do a mass contact on Harry Reid's offices today demanding a complete hold on Bernanke until we get a floor vote on S 604. Seems like a lot of people were active yesterday calling their own Senators, now let's all get Reid at the same time. Please join, this is important!

On Friday, Sen. Barbara Boxer, a California Democrat generally close to the Obama administration, became the fourth member of her caucus to say she will oppose Bernanke's nomination to a second four-year term in this time of economic discontent. And Boxer, who herself is up for re-election this year, suggested her dissent is as much symbolism as it is about Bernanke.

"I've got to admit we hit a little bit of a buzz saw this week," Obama told a town hall meeting today in Lorain County, Ohio.

"If you wanted to send the worst signal to the markets right now in the country and send us in a tailspin, it would be to reject this nomination," Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher Dodd told reporters. "This is not naming someone to be an assistant secretary to something. This is the most important central banker in the world."

I remember you always participated in the daily phone/fax bombs I used to post for HR 1207. I feel we made a lot of progress by doing that, and I feel that if we all connect and keep up the hard work, we can get the support we need to stop Bernanke in his tracks! Just think everyone, we are a force when we work together like this. If we try, we can stop all this madness!
