Shooter, The Movie: The Future of The American Patriot Movement

I'm not much for movies but my wife finds the best films from Netflix, so I always get exposed to excellent films.

Shooter is a few years old but I just saw it today. It's a fortelling of the kind of mission it may take to recover this country's integrity.
An ex-Marine marksman (Wahlberg) living in exile is coaxed back into action after learning of a plot to kill the president. Ultimately double-crossed and framed for the attempt, he goes on the run to track the real killer and find out who exactly set him up, and why. more

My favorite line...

Villian: "I am a United States senator".
Shooter: "Exactly".

Michael Nystrom's picture

I will file it away in my pumpkin

Thanks. I'll make a point of checking out this movie.

He's the man.

Saw it about a year ago .... excellent movie!

Trust in God, but tie your camel tight.

"Socialism needs two legs on which to stand; a right and a left. While appearing to be in complete opposition to one another, they both march in the same direction." - Paul Proctor

Love it too...

You should check out a series called Firefly. It's the story of the crew and their antics before the movie. Great stuff and really helps to answer some questions left from the movie. They only made one season.

I got it, I actually watched

I got it, I actually watched it before Serenity. I thought it started off kind of weak but was very strong by the end and it definitely helped me decode the dialogue in Serenity!

Ventura 2012

I'll check it out. I recently

I'll check it out. I recently saw the scifi movie "Serenity" for the first time. It hit on EVERYTHING: government propaganda, secession rights, chemtrails, federalism, democratic tyranny, subliminal messaging, manchurian brainwashing, etc.

Ventura 2012

Based on the book.

I've heard the book is better, but the movie to me was excellent. I have since taken up long range shooting as a hobby.

" Things aren't always as they seem, are they gunny"?

One of my favorite movies.

The rant by the crooked Senator, was very telling.
"Truth is what WE say it is!!"

how far can you shoot now?

I have heard that there are some guns /rifles that can shoot over a mile!!! (can you even be accurate at over a mile?)

saw this on youtube

ADVANCE WARNING : a deer gets wasted...but its very professional...it was at a secret test location for the gun manufacturer I guess. 1080 yards. watch it all the way through to see the pull-away camera shot for distance.

The best can get human sized targets at 800 yards. This is a US Marine sniper that must shoot nearly every day to get that sort of accuracy. The very large 50 BMG sniper rifles can go over a mile but only at larger targets i.e. vehicles...

I have seen a military sniper team put 5 rounds rapid fire in a 6 inch group @ 1000 yds.

It was on a History Channel special. Not that, that makes it more credible.
1000 yds is done all the time. It depends what caliber, and other factors.

800 yds is more practical, but 1000 is totally doable.

I have a friend that hit a prairie dog at 1107 yds. with an AR15....

One of my favorite scenes

is near the beginning when he sits down on his home computer, logs on to check the daily news and says to his dog, "lets see what kind of lies they're telling today"

This was awesome to all the enlightened individuals who have figured out that the MSM is nothing but propaganda for the state apparatus. Like Pravda.

Many other great scenes play out for "aware" individuals to the real history of our nation over the last 50 years.

did you notice what book was next to his computer?

I was surprised at how

pertinent it was to today's evolving events.
