US Congress for Sale

I'm not exactly sure where I stand on this yet, but this is something to consider
The Seminal:
With this ruling, corporations can now easily buy members of Congress by pouring millions of dollars into election campaigns. They can fund the ads of their chosen candidates and directly buy ads themselves to attack their opponents. Any candidate who plans to work for the people, rather than the corporatocracy, can expect to lose as their opponents are flush with cash, and countless expensive attack ads are aired against them. Imagine a Goldman Sachs or Citigroup sponsored smear campaign against Ron Paul. It could even be paid for with bailout money!

bump
edit- oops. I didn't see there was conversation already on another thread about this before bumping here. I think your thread was posted first, but someone posted a thought on the other thread that interests me so I'm going to reply there. Thanks anyway for posting this.
This is a good thing ...
The fact that it will be more transparent that corporations own congress is a good thing.
Dr. Paul wants to reduce the jurisdictional scope of Congress to cut down on corporatism. He does not want to shift blame and attempt to stifle speech.
I think we should embrace this decision and then begin to point out all the transparent corporatism that is going to result from this decision.
WAHOR!!

Why?
Why would you think they would NOW choose to be above board with their donations just because they now CAN be??
My prediction?
NOTHING will change.... don't even THINK they're that stupid. They're not.
