Chuck Baldwin: WHAT'S REALLY GOING ON IN HAITI?
Submitted by cyndezu on Mon, 01/25/2010 - 21:02
People of goodwill everywhere are rightly sympathetic to the plight of hundreds of thousands of innocent Haitians in the aftermath of the terrible earthquake that rocked the island country. Private donations and volunteer efforts are pouring into Haiti from all over the globe—especially from the United States. This is a good thing, right? So, why I am troubled?

Hey,ckpac~
Thanks! I do my best to share what I find.. as do so many others here! The more input we have the better! I had a very bad feeling on this from the beginning also!
( this post about Baldwin's questions was posted by cyndeuz )
Thanks cyn!

I don't know the truth either, but I ask the same questions as
Mr. Baldwin, and I come up with the same answer: It's all bullchit. Wag the Dog, 21st century style. I believe NOTHING that comes out of D.C. or the frickin zombie box.....NOTHING.

I know Baldwin would make a fine president.
That's why I voted for him in 2008.
Brzezinski on HAARP
HAARP’s potential for havoc drew the attention of none other than Zbigniew Brzezinski, former NSA adviser to Jimmy Carter, science advisor to President Johnson, and political advisor to President Obama.
More than 25 years ago, when Brzezinski was a professor at Columbia University, he wrote, “Political strategists are tempted to exploit research on the brain and human behavior [another strange purpose HAARP can be put to]. Geophysicist Gordon J.F. MacDonald, a specialist in problems of warfare, says accurately-timed, artificially-excited electronic strokes could lead to a pattern of oscillations that produce relatively high power levels over certain legions of the earth . . . in this way one could develop a system that would seriously impair the brain performance of very large populations in selected regions over an extended period.”
He capped this statement with “no matter how deeply disturbing the thought of using the environment to manipulate behavior for national advantages, to some, the technology permitting such use will very probably develop within the next few decades.” Let me tell you, dear readers, it’s here.
As of 1970, Brzezinski predicted HAARP could be used for “a more controlled and directed society” linked to technology. This society would be dominated by an elite group which impresses voters by allegedly superior scientific know-how.” Furthermore, Dr. Strangelove states, “Unhindered by the restrains of traditional liberal values, this elite [the New World Order of today] would not hesitate to achieve its political ends by using the latest modern techniques for influencing public behavior and keeping society under close surveillance and control. Technical and scientific momentum would then feed on the situation it exploits.”
And thus spake Brzezinski, who also predicted that it would take an inciting incident like Pearl Harbor (i.e., 9/11) to engage the normally peaceful American population to go to war on a march for world hegemony (i.e., The War on Terror). And he was spot on.
Zbig is not afraid, in fact, is lauded for thinking down avenues that would make most of us shiver with disgust. Regrettably, his forecasts tend to prove accurate, because they inspire the worst people to do the worst things. And so, these “tools for the elite” and their temptation to use them increases incredibly. The policies to use them are in place. As to the “stepping stones” that could be used to reach this highly controlled techno-society, Brezinski expected them to be “persisting social crisis” and the use of mass media to gain the public’s confidence. Again, he’s spot on.
Way back in 1966, Professor Gordon J.F. MacDonald, then associate director of the Institute of Geophysics and Planetary Physics at UC, Los Angeles, was a member of President Johnson’s Science Advisory Committee and later a member of the President’s Council on Environmental Quality. He actually wrote a chapter called “How to Wreck the Environment” in his book, Unless Peace Comes. Of course, this came at the height of the Vietnam brutality. Given the aura of violence similar to today’s, Gordon described in his chapter, among other things, “polar ice cap melting or destabilization, ozone depletion techniques, earthquake engineering [italics mine], ocean wave control and brain wave manipulation using the planet’s energy fields.”

Now,they have had decades to improve the tecnology since he made these statements. HAARP exists. Do you actually believe that the US...a country that has killed over a million people in the middle east and elsewhere just in this decade alone...really cares about the lives of the innocent and poor that they would not use this as a weapon??? No one is saying that we will know for sure but to NOT question the possibility is what is 'kooky!'
Even if it was 'natural' the amount of buildup of military along with the delay in dispensing aid, the history of US/UN occupation in Haiti, decades of 'aid' funds going to pay off interest of Haitian debt from IMF loans and US interest on loans, US, Canada and France taking advantage of no regulations enforced on mining resourses, are all reasons for concern in the aftermath when the country is even more vulnerable than ever.
and this is interesting to note:
"In fact, before the earthquake, the former president of the Dominican Petroleum Refinery (REFIDOMSA), Leopoldo Espaillat Nanita, even said, "there is a multinational conspiracy to illegally take the mineral resources of the Haitian people. In addition, there are more charitable organizations in Haiti - over 10,000 NGOs - than practically anywhere else in the world. But the people are poorer and more abused than before the democratically elected government was removed and these organizations landed to benefit from the US invasion. (See, Haiti's riches, Haiti's Oligarchy and Travesty in Haiti - False aid, false charity, false orphanages, false benevolence.) "

Interesting...
The lack of a tsunami was curious enough but I did not know the next door neighbors didn't feel a thing.
How do you fight a weapon that can move tectonic plates?
Dream... that was BS.
Dominican Republic DID feel it, I work with somebody who owns property there... she said they did, just not a lot. Not surprising, it was a very local event, Port Au Prince is sitting right on top of a fault, and it had crappy building practices.
Land based quakes don't necessarily cause tsunamis.
Baldwin is a good guy, I like him, but he is not a geologist and shouldn't speculate like he did in this article!
Don't buy into the conspiracy crap!
'Cause there's a monster on the loose
oh, I see . . . only financiers (economists with a degree)--
should think about ("speculate" about) finances and money. Not 'ordinary' people.
Only doctors should think about health; forbid the thought that a person might keep him/herself healthy. Only degreed musicians should sing. Only certified teachers should teach. Only . . .
yup--
only geologists should think about the earth.
You've got it. Keep thinking that way, and we'll all shut off our brains except the tiny portion we are 'qualified' (preferably with a piece of paper) to think about--
when a person uses the word 'crap' I immediately disqualify him/her as a person equipped to write intelligently.
So, let Chuck Baldwin "speculate" all he wishes about earthquakes and their causes!
Even a man-made earthquake would have been felt in nearby places--
We do NOT know, but telling others what they can or cannot THINK about is . . .
tantamount to denying liberty.
If you love liberty, wake up and stop telling people what to think!
and if you want to be seen as an intelligent writer or libertarian, stop using 'crap'.
Apologies if I am offending--

I'm not telling you what you can believe any more than you're telling me what I can believe. I have a MS in Geology from a major university, and while this does not make me an expert on earthquakes, it at least makes my opinion as valid as yours or Baldwin's.
Yep, keep thinking that way, only listen to the people who tell you what you want to hear. LOVE those conspiracies, don't we?
'Cause there's a monster on the loose
You have an MS in geology
and the best you've been able to tell us about HAARP is "yeah, right" and "ha ha"? Nothing more scientific? Wow...thanks for your help when we were sorting things out. It would have been nice if you generously shared your expertise to chime in on such questions as, can extremely low frequencies trigger earthquakes near fault lines if they are powerful enough and match the resonant frequency of the strata below the earth? If not, precisely why not?
Thanks so much for your help, big shot.
yes, your opinion is valid--
while we're comparing graduate work (oh, forget about it!), I would like to remind you that "scientists" are under siege.
Truly.
I know this from personal experience as well as from what I have learned from my research on the internet and other sources.
Being "hushed" and threatened are not healthy in an intelligent society, ever.
No, don't get me wrong; I'm not saying that you are threatening anyone, or even hushing anyone.
I'm not talking about you and your degrees or me and mine anymore.
I am saying that engineers and architects are speaking up about 9/11 and being ignored. And ridiculed.
I am saying that microbiologists and chemists and other scientists HAVE been disappearing mysteriously. Having had close association with many scientists who have more than masters' degrees . . .
I know that academic freedom is a lot more endangered than most who don't spend time in universities realize!
"Different" ideas are not encouraged. Questioning is often not encouraged.
As a geologist, BugMan (how did you get bugs from geology?)--
you have a right to offer an opinion on religious topics; you have a right to have religious experiences. Don't let anyone tell you differently.
And I have as much fear for the 'safety' of truth-seeking geologists at this point as I do for truth-seeking ministers of religion or economists or elderly OB/GYNs from Texas--*grin*
I am or was (the person is deceased) very closely related to a scientist who was threatened for speaking the truth--
I experienced the fear of that.
So, I think you need to look at the other side of this--
don't close your mind. Chuck Baldwin has a right to ask questions and have opinions, or we are not liberty-seekers.
oh, and 'what I want to hear'? How do you know what *I* want to hear? I would love to hear that this is all a bad dream and wake up from it.
I would love, love, LOVE to believe that there are no corrupt politicians, scientists, educators, economists, or ministers--
I would love to believe that only religious fundamentalists are dangerous. I would love to go back to feeling content as an American. Oh, yes, I would.
I would love not to have to believe that my fellow Americans or even fellow world-dwellers are capable of cruelty--
I wish everything were just natural disasters; I wish that our government were only 'stupid', not evil.
I wish CIA agents were really 'helping' people--
I wish all sorts of things--
I wish I NEVER had to believe that such evil exists as I have come to see exists.
Do not pretend to know what I want to believe!
From the time I woke up intellectually, politically, spiritually, life has been harder for me, but it's also been in some ways, more growth-producing.
it's hard to be awake; it's easier to dream--
What if I argued about religion with Chuck Baldwin?
Wouldn't you tend to think he was probably more up on the topic than me? That's my point.
Bugs in geology ( since you asked) - geology encompasses many sciences... chemistry, physics, math, meteorology, biology, etc., but mostly geology is about time. Geology is about unwrapping what happened in the past so that we can understand the present better. "Bugs" in geology are slang for microfossils, which is my specialty within geology. Fossils are extremely helpful in unwrapping the history of the earth. I had to teach several years of general geology in order to get my graduate degree, so have a fair understanding of earthquakes.

no hard feelings.
I'm not questioning your knowledge of earthquakes.
But, I think you would have a perfect right to tell Mr. Baldwin exactly what you think about religion, and you have as much right as he (or more) to have religious experiences.
That, my fellow DP'er, is liberty!!!
keep questioning; do credit to your education!!!

There were 28 earthquakes the week of the haitian earthquake. Thre was a 5.8 earthquake that was felt in the Grand Cayman Islands, Jamaica, and Cuba. Before the earthquack in Haiti there was an earthquake in El Salvador.
OK, Thanks for the report.
I agree, Baldwin should be more careful.

there is whole new world out there "bugman". you have to get your brain around the fact that there are things way beyond our comrehension that have happened, are happeneing and will happen. As the poster said above, a 5.2 quake goes off in Grand Caymen. Those in Cuba felt the shake. Caymen is alot further away from Cuba then the dominican is away from Haiti. I always find it funny.... My father inlaw has a Doctorate Degree from MIT. When it comes to books and just plain being smart he is the Smartest, nicest man I have ever met in my life. When it comes to common sense he is the dumbest Person I have ever met. It seems to be that way with scientists.. for some reason. If it can't be explained in black and white to their understanding, they pooh pooh it and say science doesn't prove it. Then they hide behind their degree basically saying I'm smarter then you now shut up. You make fun of what I have said up above. READ YOUR BIBLE.. GENESIS 6. GET THE BOOK OF ENOCH. It tells exactly why this happened. You sit here and tell everyone oh its no big deal, no conspriacy here.. Read up on scaler weaponry. they have had this since the 70's.. Also Tesla who is much more smarter then you and I had this stuff figured out what 120 years ago or so? Open your buggy. Everything in this realm is not black and white. Just because your Science can't prove it a fact does not mean it is not.
