Bump because this is one of the best/awesomest things I've ever seen.
By the way, Mobb Deep is a huge Ron Paul fan.

Immortal Technique is also pretty hip to the military industrial complex and was even interviewed by Russian Times.
I swear that anarcho-caps were responsible for this rap song as well ;-)

I have seen many of your posts
and I have enjoyed many, but I like this one the best for bringing back Easy Muthafecking E and judge Dre.
Feck the police
Ahhh...1989.
A good year for rap.
Fo Shizzle
I love that video.

The Making of the Keynes-Hayek Rap: Economic Theory Meets Popular Culture
"Recorded 12 March 2010 at the Ludwig von Mises Institute in Auburn, Alabama. Includes an introduction by Jeffrey Tucker, and comments by Roger W. Garrison."

I have to admit that I haven't laughed so hard in a while. Both John Papola and Roger Garrison give and interesting and humorous account of how the video came to be.
Btw, if the audio plays a second time over itself, just hit the pause button of the audio shown on the screen and the other will continue to play.
Enjoy!

Mises.org's reply, thanks!
Ditto, haven't laughed like that in a while.
"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it."
server says thanks, too!
AAAAAAAARRGHHH
"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it."
server?
Did it play ok for you? I'm not sure why it plays over itself.

it's the daily paul double post wizard. He likes me for some reason.
"You underestimate the character of man." | "So be off now, and set about it."
That would have been hilarious in the 70's
That would have been hilarious in the 70's (except that rap wasn't invented until the 80's) but it is now hopelessly outdated.
Have you read the Review of Austrian Economics lately?
The Society for the Development of Austrian Economics gave this communist $1000. This is money they collected $10 at a time from people just like you, who didn’t know that they were funding a communist.
Steve Horwitz honored this communist on November 13th at George Mason University. Horwitz exalts:

Best lines: "In the long-run,
Best lines:
"In the long-run, it's your theory that's dead!"
"The savings aren't real, consumption's up too, the grasping for resources reveals they're too few."
outstanding,
That is, by far, the best production quality i have ever seen in a economic rap video.

I don't like rap..
But god, did I enjoy this one !
BUMP
I looked over this and didn't watch it, until a friend insisted I must! It's great!
Great! I had not seen it!
How the heck did I miss this one!? Thanks!
"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd
Had over 70,000 views when I last watched it.
For those who don't have the ears to hear, you must realize that this video has legs. In terms of economics videos, this is certainly the best produced on the subject and it has vital info. I haven't been presented with a better video explaining the crux of the argument that can be digested by people who go to YouTube to be entertained. Don't be surprised if this gets featured on the front page of the most visited sites on the net.

Strategic thought of the day:
Strategic thought of the day: Pit Austrians against Keynes as you sell to sheeple, not Ron Paul against the World. People are hurting and are open to explanations. It was Nixon, a Republican, who said "we're all Keynesians now," so the Austrian point of view gives sheeple political cover.
A snapshot of a style I use:
"Austrian economic theory says you can't spend your way out of a crisis, and they've been saying that since the Great Depression. If they're right, and I think they are, we have to reverse course now."
Speak for yourself.
This is one of the coolest
videos I've seen in a while! Excellent job!
"Prepare to get schooled
in my Austrian perspective". Yeah.
Napolitano: "We need Ron Paul now!"

A good teaching tool but...
I don't care for the (c)rap angle, but that's because I'm an old Moody Blues fan who appreciates that music is actually made up of THREE elements (rhythm, harmony AND melody). Not just one (rhythm). How frickin' ARCANE of me.
But I realize the impact this could have on the newer generations and I certainly support the message.
LONG LIVE F.A. HAYEK...And hopefully Keynes is burning in...
I have a new response to the "WE'RE ALL KEYNESIANS NOW" quote...
The fact is; "WE'RE ALL SERFS NOW."
"We have allowed our nation to be over-taxed, over-regulated, and overrun by bureaucrats. The founders would be ashamed of us for what we are putting up with."
-Ron Paul
Love the Moodies, hate rap,
Love the Moodies, hate rap, love this video.
Speak for yourself.
Actually, if you will listen
Actually, if you will listen closely, there is a melody to their lines and even some harmonies. The thing with rap is that they never hold out the notes so it doesn't sound as melodic, but there is a definite tune. It takes a lot more talent and vocal control to rap than people realize.
After the first seconds
I already knew this was gonna to be great!
Napolitano: "We need Ron Paul now!"

Honestly,
how can we get that on MTV?
Napolitano: "We need Ron Paul now!"
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3k3JNRTVI0Q
Maybe by asking them
Isn't the founder of MTV a Ron Paul supporter?
Thanks :)
