Here Comes Carbon Currency

Critics who think that the U.S. dollar will be replaced by some new global currency are perhaps thinking too small.

On the world horizon looms a new global currency that could replace all paper currencies and the economic system upon which they are based.

The new currency, simply called Carbon Currency, is designed to support a revolutionary new economic system based on energy (production, and consumption), instead of price. Our current price-based economic system and its related currencies that have supported capitalism, socialism, fascism and communism, is being herded to the slaughterhouse in order to make way for a new carbon-based world.

It is plainly evident that the world is laboring under a dying system of price-based economics as evidenced by the rapid decline of paper currencies. The era of fiat (irredeemable paper currency) was introduced in 1971 when President Richard Nixon decoupled the U.S. dollar from gold. Because the dollar-turned-fiat was the world’s primary reserve asset, all other currencies eventually followed suit, leaving us today with a global sea of paper that is increasingly undesired, unstable, unusable.

The deathly economic state of today’s world is a direct reflection of the sum of its sick and dying currencies, but this could soon change.

Forces are already at work to position a new Carbon Currency as the ultimate solution to global calls for poverty reduction, population control, environmental control, global warming, energy allocation and blanket distribution of economic wealth.

Unfortunately for individual people living in this new system, it will also require authoritarian and centralized control over all aspects of life, from cradle to grave.

What is Carbon Currency and how does it work? In a nutshell, Carbon Currency will be based on the regular allocation of available energy to the people of the world. If not used within a period of time, the Currency will expire (like monthly minutes on your cell phone plan) so that the same people can receive a new allocation based on new energy production quotas for the next period.

Because the energy supply chain is already dominated by the global elite, setting energy production quotas will limit the amount of Carbon Currency in circulation at any one time. It will also naturally limit manufacturing, food production and people movement.

Local currencies could remain in play for a time, but they would eventually wither and be fully replaced by the Carbon Currency, much the same way that the Euro displaced individual European currencies over a period of time.

Sounds very modern in concept, doesn’t it? In fact, these ideas date back to the 1930’s when hundreds of thousands of U.S. citizens were embracing a new political ideology called Technocracy and the promise it held for a better life. Even now-classic literature was heavily influenced by Technocracy: George Orwell’s 1984, H.G. Well’s The Shape of Things to Come and Huxley’s “scientific dictatorship” in Brave New World.

This paper investigates the rebirth of Technocracy and its potential to recast the New World Order into something truly “new” and also totally unexpected by the vast majority of modern critics.

this article was originally published in the August Review...yes that August Review! The publishing arm of the Trilateral Commission.

Canadian Free Press published it word for word.

Here's the DailyBell's take on the HERE COMES CARBON CURRENCY article.

If you have read the Canadian Free Press piece you should read this.

Dead on Arrival

No way this will happen Climate Gate is imploding the elites wet dream of carbon currency anything.

Go read the latest fallout from Alex Jones InfoWars.
There are now bankers and investors backing out of carbon deals as we speak!

The elite are having their asses hung out in the wind on this! Just because Lame-stream is not talking about it here, doesn't mean they are not talking about this scam everywhere else in the world!

As far as the US goes with real news to the masses on the boob tube, the elite psychopaths think most of us are just mushrooms in the basement, feed us a little shit and we will all be happy!

This bloated arrogance will be their undoing!!
This type of arrogance is typical in psychopaths, its there ultimate downfall every time.

Know the enemy, never say die, never give up, We are many, they are few! GIVE NO QUARTER!

Nice bold freedom proclamation. Well done!

And never forget, “Humans, despite our artistic pretensions, our sophistication and many accomplishments, owe the fact of our existence to a six-inch layer of topsoil and the fact that it rains.”

If you generate your own electricity what happens?

How does this work if you don't purchase energy?

The Liberty a society retains is inversely proportional to the number of Lawyers in the Government.

Now now, that isn't playing nice. You know very well that

selfish behavior like generating your own energy will disrupt the delicate balance we more learned scientists have engineered.

If you don't stop, then we will have to "re-educate" you to the proper and socially conscious way of thinking. Otherwise you are a clear and present danger to our global harmony.

Of course, if you refuse to be re-educated and insist on disrupting our meticulously planned utopia, then we will simply have to "dispose" of you.

I think they will outlaw

open fires. In California I read where neighbors were turned in for having a fire at Christmas time, seems it is against the law. Yikes!

Having an open fire outdoors (not contained in a pit or ring) is

one thing and can be regulated.

Having a fire in a pit, ring, or indoor fireplace is quite another, and CANNOT be regulated.

If I need heat to survive, and the only way to get it is by fire, then anyone who attempts to physically prevent me from surviving will taste lead.

I see two possible scenarios there in Cali, one - an effort to prevent wild fires which would endanger the general population; and two - a direct assault on the lives of individuals. The first is reasonable, the second has no reason that can be found on this Earth to justify it.

Where I live the gov wants

Where I live the gov wants $50 monthly or $600 annually for their permission (permit) to have campfires or to burn leaves, etc, outside of your home. The fire still needs to be safe, but it doesn't matter as their permission is still required. I had someone from the police department as well as someone from the fire department tell me this. Neither of them had any clue why permission was required but they both said it was.

I posted about it two years ago here on the DP but was not able to find the thread. In the discussion I recall a few mentioning that in certain areas of California burning wood is straight out against the law. No wood burning inside or outside of homes.

I've been saying this for

I've been saying this for years... I knew that some crazy bankers would use the global warming hoax to implement some sort of carbon currency that would be convertible to a carbon tax reduction.

Luckily, I don't believe this crazy idea would every fly with the American people... I think it's dead on arrival.

bump for

night time readers.

6 protons, 6 neutrons, 6 electrons

A currency based on a element that has 6 protons, 6 neutrons, 6 electrons. Makes you want to start reading that last chapter in the Bible.

I listened to an interview on Alex Jones with the guy who did the movie Shadow Government. He was mentioning a conservation meeting/convention he attended with one of the Rothschilds and carbon currency was the main topics of the meeting.

I am guessing this is the Money Powers solution for their failed fiat currency. Probably has been the plan for a long, long time.

Now, that's creepy...

I need some lessons from Tesla now, because if you're not wrong we'll be needing free energy, which will certainly be outlawed (gives a strange new meaning to "counterfeiting") by this kind of move.

Assert Your Authority

found it: Revelation 13

16] Also it causes all, both small and great, both rich and poor, both free and slave, to be marked on the right hand or the forehead, 17] so that no one can buy or sell unless he has the mark, that is, the name of the beast or the number of its name. 18] This calls for wisdom: let him who has understanding reckon the number of the beast, for it is a human number, its number is six hundred and sixty-six.

Just to be safe I think will stay away from that currency.

Looks like the hampster wheel is finally obsolete

Only to be replaced with what appears to be a larger hampster wheel.

Oh boy

Its not the stuff you see that knocks you out, it the thing you never considered flying out of left field that catches you unprepared and knocks you out.

Some form of global currency is in the works - this sounds like an Authoritarian's dream.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. - Alan Watts

can shove this idea where the sun doesn't shine!

..."In a nutshell, Carbon Currency will be based..."

Will be based? That sounds as if it's a done deal, as if we have no choice....WRONG!
Blah Blah Blah carbon credits...global warming...population control?

And I hated this:

"...Unfortunately for individual people living in this new system, it will also require authoritarian and centralized control over all aspects of life, from cradle to grave..."

I believe you misunderstood the author

This is most definitely a piece AGAINST a carbon currency, the author is simply illustrating the consequences of such a system and explaining how it would function.

No, hon,

I understood. It just makes me po'd to read some of these agendas...

Giving it a name like "carbon currency," you'd think they'd at LEAST go back to mimeograph so we could all sniff the freshly-minted notes like back in the day...

at LEAST go back to mimeograph

They could call it the Meme for short
how appropriate...

This is a GREAT article

Its got my mind doing mental gymnastics....Wait! does that burn calories?!
thanks freeyourmind for posting it.

Very interesting and this may be partly correct

The Webbot guys claim that future language portends a new currency based on the calorie in the vacuum of the "dollar" collapse. (really, the dollar cannot collapse, it is instead the central bank notes aka Federal Reserve Notes which will collapse in alleged value as a currency)

I think though that "calories" are ridiculously too small for practical use as a currency, and instead the kilo-calorie or Calorie will be used. However, though it will be energy based, that will be its only similarity to what this article talks about. I don't see a Calorie based system as being limited to "carbon anything" but rather merely the measure of energy either required to produce an object, or contained therein that is usable. It would also be used as the measure of work expended in labor, and thus how someone would be paid. Perhaps I'm sure, creative individuals will figure out how to justify being paid more, because their "work" resulted in more gain of energy for the company than they actually expended in labor. Leave it to someone to always want more than they put in.

And also unlike this article, and what others apparently fear, this Calorie based system is very well suited and will most likely take the form of Silver and Gold coins or bars, with Copper and Nickel being used for subsidiary amounts and every day purchases.

I think the only kink to work out would be when or if at all to use the measure of energy to be that which is contained or available rather than what was required for production. I would gather that the difference between required energy for production and available or latent useful energy in the resulting product would be the "profit" that is available to anyone bringing something to market.

This would also drive production towards goods that were not energy destructive since it would not be profitable to make such a product, unless some other valuation could be obtained for a selling price higher than the energy inputs. Exceptions of course would arise under economies of scale and mass production where a slight marginal additional input results in a product with greater inherent energy. (same as we have now just under different measuring systems)

"money" in this sense would be less abstract, and possibly less prone to manipulation.

People will naturally gravitate back towards precious metals for currency. They may very well do so after a short time, on the basis of an entirely new valuation system. Thinking in terms of merely "carbon" is a bit limiting. I have a suspicion it will be much more broad and the "Calorie" is a good start. It is already well known and understood by many, and as soon as a basic rule set and framework for conversion is laid out, would be very adaptable to even the most lay person.

nice summary samadamscw

this was a very well written and researched article. It makes a ton of sense. And your summary was well thought out too.

conspiracy theory with

conspiracy theory with ventura did a show on global warming about this very subject and did a good job showing who was behind it all

Oh, sh####t

this does not sound good. bump for discussion.
