Friday night's second and final debate between the Republican candidates for governor might as well be called "The Debra Medina Show." While the two big-name contenders — Kay Bailey Hutchison and Rick Perry — are trying not to make any career-threatening gaffes, she'll be trying to add momentum to an outsider run that has made her the most interesting candidate in the race.

It's hard not to sound substantive
against two empty suit, insulated from public scrutiny by party and corporate big-money backing.

they dont know sh**!
statistics are only a historical reference of human action. no one can foretell... or call Medina's race for governor a lost cause. while it dished her some spotlight, this article was overall an attempt to marginalize her candidacy. F**k em! hopefully Texans will stand for Medina.
and if as a result of Texas's succession, the Federal Government would wage war on Texas... you have one Tennessee Volunteer to fight against tyranny with you.
make that 2 T's for Texas...
and 2 for Tennessee!

haha
sounds good.
All Debra needs to do
Is hit Rick with stealing farm and ranch land for the Trans Texas Corridor (make him explain how that helps with Texas jobs, illegal immigration, putting farms and ranches out of business. Ask Rick about his mandating a dangerous drug for young women in Texas, where does he get the authority to mandate a drug to anyone other than himself. Ask Kay Hutchison about vowing to not vote for bailouts then doing so, "Is that a LITTLE white lie Kay, or a BIG NASTY LIE?" Can Texans trust either of these two given their histories of going back on their words?
Finally ask Rick about the CAFR or Comprehensive Annual Finance Report for the state. Ask him why it's off-off budget and a secret kept from taxpayers ?
Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow
Perry was also behind the
Perry was also behind the abduction of 400+ FLDS children but not sure Debra would gain much using that. Appears most in TX supported it too.

Keep kicking ass
Debra Medina!!!!! Be on the offensive when you debate these two co runners. Offense will be your best defense, make them keep up their guard.

The R3volution requires action, not observation!!!!
On the offence is right on
I am sure Perry and Kay just want to get through with out any gaffs. If Debra comes out strong and confident she can do it. Debra is a breath of fresh air, love her stand on property tax. We need that in Michigan.
YES!
...the best defense is a darn good offense!

I am surprised Perry didn't
I am surprised Perry didn't refuse to participate in the debate. I hope they two elites don't pull any tricks on Medina. The Kera debate turned out to be HUGE for Medina, and if this debate goes just as well, Medina could easily double her voter turnout and pass up KBH.
He is going to wish that he had refused...
...when Debra takes him apart.

Isn't it refreshing to listen to "experts" that are morons
"The best she can hope for is to kick the thing into a runoff — one that she will not be a part of," says Wayne Hamilton, a Republican consultant and former executive director of the Texas GOP. "She might as well get a hammer and hit her thumb and get it over with."
If she performs as well in this debate as the first, Mr. Hamilton (you moron), money will quickly dry up for Hutchison or Perry, and the "anti-(Hutchison or Perry) voters" will jump on Debra's bandwagon. She may not get the "special interest" money, but the media will be obligated to report about her, especially if she draws large crowds.
You don't get out much, do you, Mr. Hamilton?
It is estimated
that there are 1 million to possibly 2 million P.O.d voters in Texas.
Perry only got 500k votes in the last "election".
If those votes can be split between Hutchy, and Perry, then the chances are even better.
It will be up to the activists, to use guerrilla marketing techniques to get Medina's name out there.
The one correct part of that article is the possibility of her name getting lost in the sea of millions of dollars of advertising between the two front runners.
This is where people from out of state can help. They can call into talk radio, infiltrate comment sections, 9/12 forums, and other places. You can make a big difference without donating a dime, although dimes and dollars are most welcome.
We could even the score if everyone around the country got involved.

if I were Debra...at the very least, neuter him!

Talk radio times, locations??
It would help if we out of staters had radio talk show locations and times when the gov shows would be going on. Can we post those somewhere?
well said Jefferson
I just posted her new radio interview where she talks about it - people individuals outside of her campaign who buy radio and tv ads for her all over Taxas they buy with their own money billboards on highways all kinds of grassroots activity.
