I actually caught something on the news about Pelosi saying that the Dept of Defense should also be part of the freeze, with the exception of money keeping the troops safe.

Bodes well for a possible run in 2012!

Does anyone remember him ever getting this kind of media before the 2008 election cycle?

I had never heard of him back then but every time he is on these major media outlets, he gains name recognition.

i love how when they ask him "what should be done," he has a list of about 40 things and he can't even get through everything before they cut him off. Whenever people like barack and mccain are asked "what should be done," they always give such incredibly vague, meaningless answers.

I don't like Ali Velsheeeeee (or whatever his last name is). He is a moron and has NO clue how the economy works. I regret watching him during the "crisis" and he was always saying that in one year the stimulus is going to work, employment is going to rise, blah blah blah....false obviously. He is an idiot!

But ali V played the part to the nines for the big bank bailout. When it was first defeated after we all brought out our phones against the political establishment; he was the biggest stool pigeon for the banks. I remember they turned to him as the expert on the finicial crisis and when they asked him about how angry the american people were he almost turned white with fear and said something to the effect

yea well the American people don't know whats good for them...we really really need to bail these guys out...I hope the congress quits listening to their constituents. Otherwise this is going to be the end of the world as we know it.

Ever since then I cringe every time I see him. What a disgusting sight.
