Obama Owned! Town Hall Attendee Challenges Presidents Statements in Address
Submitted by BaneMaler on Thu, 01/28/2010 - 15:30
The President receives a challenge to his State of the Union Address concerning his statement about human rights in Haiti and the rest of the world and how this is compatible with the State of Israel in regards to the plight of Palestinians.

I feel sorry for the lady
I feel sorry for the lady asking the question, she admitted to actually listening to his nonsense during the state of the union address last night. She could have been out having a good time instead.
"The Middle East is obviously
"The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries."
...obviously - Mr. President
Huh huh
and what was that question again?
this is clear
The democrats and republicans are war parties. And neither of them actually care about human rights. Only when it gets them ahead politically and gives them another excuse to invade another country, which in turn means violate more human rights including our own!
The boo's in the crowd were telling. You would probably here more at a neocon rally, but thats just it isn't? There isn't much difference between a liberal and a neocon is there?
Half of the people are ignorant and don't know about the stupid crap isreal pulls. They have become what they hate. They are pulling moves like Hitler did to the Jews in I believe it was Poland...the Warsaw Ghetto?

I know there are plenty of people with diffrent consperiacy theories and claims of zionism...but this is the way to expose isreal...turn the tables on them and make it clear they are now violating human rights. David Kramer (a jew i beleive) at LewRockwell.com writes about this hippocracy on a regular basis. Here is his latest blog post. http://www.lewrockwell.com/blog/lewrw/archives/048819.html
Scott horton at anit-war.com has some good interviews too.
Here is one on the libertarian prospective of the conflict.

Heres one on the human rights of the remake of the warsaw ghetto.

more property rights in the form of access...The gate from hell!

I don't rule out the conspiracies and I don't mind learning more about them. But when you start using the Zionist term people look at you like you are crazy. If you use some tact and go after it from the human rights angle you will get far more people to listen once they find out how aweful the Israeli state behaves. Its becomes clear then its less of a religious clash and more of a tit for tat, which is how people (and even animals in the natural world) get along.
Just saying if you come at it from a compassionate angle more people will be willing to cut off aid to Israel and maybe find out how deep the rabbit hole really goes. Because once you have established the ugliness of them, people may just ask why we support such evil and hide the evil from the public.
Typical Political Answer?
If you beat around the bush long enough, pretty soon everyone forgets the original question, which I heard as ,"What about human rights for the Palestinian people, compared to the Haitian people?"
beesting
Blowbacks a you know what
I don't think he could comprehend someone would attend an event and question his words made to the people the other night. Arrogance comes to mind. Then he doesn't even answer the poor girls question amidst her getting booed by others in the room. The way he speaks of Israel to a "left-leaning" audience makes you wonder if his cult of personality will ever be completely shattered. These are the same things they railed against Bush for. How many statements in the address seemed contrary to his parties world view and yet they still clapped enthusiastically.

His first statement in the reply:
"The Middle East is obviously an issue that has plagued the region for centuries"
Are you freaking kidding me?! Really??
The Middle East Region has plagued the Middle East Region since it became the Middle East Region. Brilliant man!

Cut Him Some Slack
Ron Paul uses run-on sentences, and sometimes says the opposite of what he means to say.
That said, Obama clearly doesn't have more than a superficial understanding of the matter, or else he does, but is trying to find a way to say what he believes without alienating anyone (i.e., trying not to say what he believes).
IMissLiberty
YES!!!!!!
my thoughts exactly! i scrolled down to see if anyone else caught that stupid shit....and before that he says..."everybody's gotta answer the question" ......instead of saying....."met me answer the question."
omg....no teleprompter and where's my fucking brain?
LOL! Yeah, that is what I
LOL! Yeah, that is what I was thinking too. The entire answer was a stall tactic while he frantically wracked his brain for a lie that the audience would buy. It came out as absolute gibberish.
That was good
owned is a good word
If voting could really change things,
it would be illegal. Here is hoping for change!
what a big . . .
mess--
did he talk long enough to divert everyone?
