70 Senators that voted for Bernanke 2nd Confimation: Dump them this November!
Submitted by Fetung on Thu, 01/28/2010 - 17:15
Bernanke 2nd term confirmed 70-30!
Here is the US Senate List of Shame. Please pin this thread and spread the link across the web and urge people to vote these 70 bums out of the office this November:
http://www.senate.gov/legislative/LIS/roll_call_lists/roll_c...
Also list those who voted against Bernanke Confirmation on your "Thank you" and support list this November. They will definitely be pitched against by establishment. This is not about Dem vs Rep, but People vs Banks.

Only about a third of the senators are up for re-election
every two years, so there's no way to get rid of all seventy.
Notice John McCain voted against confirmation. Think it might have something to do with his re-election campaign this year? McCain was born part of the elite, the son of an admiral who was the son of an admiral.
Any other year he'd vote for Bernanke, just like his gofer Lindsey Graham. Lindsey was re-upped two years ago, meaning he's safe ignoring the folks back home.

I suspect that
there is a secret government and this dog and pony show is to entertain the masses. Even if he was voted out he would have been replaced with another traitor.

my letter
to Mitch McConnell this morning...
I see that not only did you vote yes on a cloture but you voted yes on confirmation for Bernanke, a vote that, by the way, was populated 68% democrat. Im glad youve joined the supermajority Mr. McConnell.
Secondly, you didnt even wait for a audit of the federal reserve and you havent co-sponsored S 604 which Jim DeMint is championing.
I hope your ready to retire after this term is up because my generation of republicans is sick of your RINO ways. Bunning is at least going out respectfully.
Fiscal responsibility at a government level can start with looking at the largest government lender in the the country. Years from now my generation will speak of what republicans like yourself turned this party into...democrats. When your golden boy Grayson looses this senate race and makes the old establishment look out of touch we will see where this party goes.
Good Luck and long live the Republic.
Arlan Spector voted no....
but he won't be getting any thank-you's from me!

Franken voted 'Nay', whats up
Franken voted 'Nay', whats up with that? Interesting, I would like to hear him explain that one.

OMG! Knowing there is such
OMG! Knowing there is such extreme controversy over Bernanke, why would they ever put him back in with an overwhelming majority? They must be a paid bunch...There is no other explanation. I did see the name BROWN as a yes vote but I don't know if it was Scott Brown. There were only a few senators, I felt, were authentic in their opposition to this nomination. The entire senate knew Bernanke was going to win the nomination beforehand. They didn't even try to make it a contest. I doubt all the no votes were authentic for this reason. It was just a safe play to their angry constituents, ie Barbara Boxer????? A lot of mugwump rhetoric trying to please the audience. I never saw such a bunch of paid-off hack politicians assembled in one room.
That was Sen.(D)Sherrod Brown
That was Sen.(D)Sherrod Brown from Ohio who voted yes & this vote will put his re election in jeopardy.
Thanks for the
Thanks for the info..Hopefully and justifiably Brown from Ohio goes down in flames come November.

Kirk Voted Yes ..
I wonder how our wonderboy Scott Brown would have voted?
I notice that appointed hack Kirk is still voting and rather than complaining about the weeks going by Brown is touring the TV talk shows ... big flipping zero ...
I live in Wonderland.
Both my Snakators voted "Nay" so why am I so angry about it? Because they are snakes, but they are pandering to the TEA Party types, and it is working, and they will get re-elected.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

Why are Dems so in love with Bernanke, especially since he was appointed by Repubs?

Why are Dems so in love with Bernanke, especially since he was appointed by Repubs?
Most are following Obamas lead which is pro-fed which leads them off a cliff. Obama lost the DEM base the ones that vote during not presidential elections. The DEM base is becoming more & more anti-fed.
These traitors voted for Criminal Theft of our Money
We need to expose these traitors, who voted for the leader of the ''greatest theft in history'', on every blog, site, ect. We always hear the talk host neocons state how Cobyrn, Kyl, and Hatch are these great GOP Sentators fighting for conservatism in the Senate. Well their true colors are now exposed, and they must be held accountable. People should start impeachment or recall petitions on these cronies if they are not up for reelection.
Alot of these Senators will
Alot of these Senators will lose there elections based on this vote alone. The ones up for re-election this November have no idea. Let alone Obama really screwed the Dems that still back him when he said he did not want to punish bad banks in his State of the union address. There are alot of anti-FED DEMS now.
No they won't. They'll win re-election quite handily.
And I'd be that a large percentage of them won't be up for re-election this fall anyway.
The American people have yet to prove they have what it takes to "take back over" Washington. They simply will not do it.
Why? Because their opponent will be painted as more evil than them and so re-election here we come.
I see no support for anyone other than neo-cons, be they Democrats or Republicans. Any support anyone can demonstrate for any other party or for an independent, isn't even on the radar. The American people have but a few months before the selection process for House and Senate begins, and they are not lifting a finger to vote for someone OTHER than another neo-con.
(Rand Paul being a possible exception. I don't think at this point Schiff will make it and the others are dubious as well. Besides, they are all REPUBLICANS!!)
Ever notice how the TEA parties are all about throwing the bums out from "both" parties but then they tend to support Republican candidates, and they claim we have to "work within" one of the two parties that has destroyed this nation? Did that not EVER sound suspicious to anyone?
Sounds like you need to run
Sounds like you need to run for U.S. Congress, State Congress, County, City, take your pick. We all have to run regardless of any situation. Expose the FED!
Dump them?
Id imagine one of the reasons the supreme justices voted down the law limiting contributions is to protect these yes votes with vast corporate coffers.
