Full Coverage of the Event for Dr. Rand Paul & Congressman Paul

Dear Members,

Here is full coverage of the rally for Dr. Rand Paul and Congressman Ron Paul with music by Aimee Allen.

You can feel like you were there even if you were unable to make it.

Here's a nice blog

Here's a nice blog report:

Trust in God, but tie your camel tight.

"Socialism needs two legs on which to stand; a right and a left. While appearing to be in complete opposition to one another, they both march in the same direction." - Paul Proctor

Just back

It was a long drive from Dayton, OH. But well worth it. Felt a little out of place seeing as how I won't be able to cast a vote for Rand but I've sent money to the campaigns of Rand and Ron, something I never do for politicians. It's strange that I live in Ohio but consider my congressman to be Dr. Paul. Hopefully I'll soon have a Senator representing me as well.

My wife took along her 2010 Paul Family Cookbook. During his speech, Ron brought up the cookbook as Carol's idea back in 1996; saying that Carol knows politics a lot more then she lets on. After the event Ron and Carol were gracious enough to autograph the cookbook. Ron said "see you knew what I was talking about".

I thanked Dr. Paul for all he has done and moved along. I didn't have a chance to tell him I made it a point over the past three years to know what he's talking about. Judging from current events, like his recent media exposure, crowd turnout and the like; he should know there's a growing segment out here catching on.

My prayer is that Dr. Paul will soon be able to call his son Senator. Now that would be a blessing.

Miamisburg, Montgomery County, Ohio

Another Ohioan!

I came down from Columbus, glad another Buckeye was there! And yes I totally agree, it was absolutely worth it. We came down early to help with canvassing, which seemed weird since I'm not even able to vote for him. But liberty is liberty, regardless of state line. Every little bit helps, we're pretty desperate at this point.

Inside scoop from private meeting

I attended the private mtg at 3:00.

Both Ron and Rand were interviewed by a WHAS reporter. He didn't work from notes, but had his marching orders, so typical of MSM these days.

I was with my 10 year-old son. After several questions, I'd lean over and whisper in my son's ear, "the reporter is trying to trap Ron/Rand, trying to get them to make a mistake." Questions like these:

1) To Ron, "was 9/11 America's fault?"
2) To both: should we withdraw from GITMO?

I thought the interviewer was respectful, and it was an "okay" interview, but I was unimpressed. I obviously shouldn't expect the MSM to help promote truth and Liberty by asking questions that bring that out from these two champions of Liberty.

But it would be nice.

"It is well enough that people of the nation do not understand our banking and monetary system, for if they did, I believe there would be a rEVOLution before tomorrow morning." - Henry Ford

I was there too

I was at the private reception too (they invited all the 10am canvassers to attend, woohoo!) and I think I was actually standing near you (short girl in black hoodie.)

The interview was about 25 min. long and yes it was a classic MSM outline (jumping straight into 9/11 of course) but the Pauls gave great answers as always. WHAS 11 has aired a few minutes of it so far and they're posting the entire 25 min. online today, so keep checking their website (www.whas11.com).

I am not going...

but I donated $25 as if I was attending. I think that those of you who can afford to should do the same. It will also compensate for some of those who decided not to go because of the weather. It's also a good end of month donation. This is just a suggestion.

Aimee Allen

Just leaving Indy

Please give a road condition update when you get south. We are gonna be late...typical.

Meant for Bloomington YAL

oops :)

It's kind of a shame that our movement is plagued with

some really bad, off-putting music. I would never want to listen to her in concert.

Are you kidding, you are kidding right?

Aimee Allen is tremendously talented. What a great voice and enthusiasm. Be thankful she's not just a gorgeous Hollywood want-to-be, this lady has class, brains and she's a patriot..nuff said !!

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

At least she is an enthusiastic...

.. supporter of Ron Paul and the cause. Some of her songs are not bad. She appeals to a large sector... talk about off-putting music... the current vogue in churches has driven me out. Can't stand having to listen to that for three-quarters of an hour every Sunday. No thanks.

i have never heard...

pseudonym give any support whatsoever here...usually, he just likes to give someone a black eye and leave...typical of his M.O.

looks like that is what he has done here by dissing aimee

its all about pseudonym, don't you know? he loves the captain and tennille or, maybe, sugarloaf but that is the extent of his musical background!

forget the fact that aimee is a passionate supporter of liberty who also happens to be very talented and is very well liked by a lot of people in this movement

I say I don't like her music, and this is what I get.

couldnt agree more. Its

Ok that's your personal take on her

music. But many if the liberty movement like the music and really love Aimee for her strong stand for liberty from the beginning. she's been physically attacked, her jaw broken to silence her, and she's back strong and brave again.
This woman deserves the support of the entire liberty community, IMO. Personally I like her music, but most I love her spirit.

Great Interview

Aimee being interviewed by Alex Jones.

"All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent."
Thomas Jefferson

Was her jaw really broken to silence her?

Her website says it was a "random gang attack." That's very sad. It doesn't say they tried to kill her for supporting Ron Paul, however.

No doubt...

... she's a heroine and much admired.

Great, send reports to those

Great, send reports to those of us on the east coast and elsewhere!

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.
