VIDEO: TV reporters give bigtime props to Debra over debate performance!

Check out this fine reporter from Fox 4 in Dallas-Fort Worth, he can hardly contain himself:

http://www.myfoxdfw.com/dpp/news/politics/final-gop-candidat...

Some quotes:

"I have to tell you, Debra Medina is kind of writing her own story in this gubernatorial race"

"She was very good tonite, very confident tonite, certainly knows her constitution"

"Debra Medina tonite, she did VERY good for herself"

Then this other reporter from ABC affiliate KVUE in Austin also gave due recognition to Debra's stellar debate performance:

http://www.kvue.com/news/GOP-candidates-for-governor-spar-in...

Some quotes:

"Just a couple of weeks ago, Ms. Medina wasn't even supposed to be here tonite, but at the end of the day, many folks are saying that... the way she carried herself during the debate, the way she performed in the debate, was actually the most polished"

"the big question is, will it be a run-off that features Ms. Medina or will it be a run-off between Governor Perry and Senator Hutchison"

So now even the establishment media is conceding that Debra might be the one in the run-off, instead of just the one forcing a run-off between the other two. Kay Bailey, look out behind you!

The only way I can

see Debra Medina losing is by the Bush
electoral vote fixing machine, I sure hope
they have all accountability at each
precinct making sure that votes given are to
the candidate the vote was intended and also a paper
count also.

Go TEXAS start us up for November

awesome, they are both

awesome, they are both excellent.

People are ready for real change

that is what I liken her successes to. She is down to earth. All of us looking to run I think need to run not so D.C. polished, let's add some rough edges to our running and say "bullshit" every now and again. She is being human, not some fake piece of garbage like her opponents. The other two she is running against act like when they shit it smells like roses. Let's go raw politically, that is why Traficant does so well, his hair is a mess, but his words are human. We need to run as humans, not as politicians.

Watch for Hutchinson or Perry to throw in the towel and...

..endorse the other.

Debra may still win even if this happens.

Debra won the Tarrant County Republican Straw Poll just today.

Go Debra, GO!

are great, good find!

Freedom is NOT free!

This needs to be sent to every GOP county precinct

I'm sending this thread to mine.

Ron_Paul_is_awesome, (whoever you are, behind such an agreeable name), thank you for putting this together. Well done, patriot!

I've been checking into The DP often for such news. As you commented, The first news-spokesman couldn't quite contain his rightful admiration of such a noble presentation as Debra Medina gave, in true Texas tradition.

Perry-wrinkle and K. Bailout H. just couldn't help sticking to the neo-con script, no matter how bad it made them look and sound when compared to Medina.

The second link:

Her straight-forward, no nonsense, constitutionally sound, even, at times, openly faith-based understanding of the scope and limits of the job she was appealing to the voters for, made Debra Medina stand out in stark contrast to her two neo-con opponents.

Terry Gruca did a stellar job asking her questions during the debate, and in this post-debate coverage, handled herself well, as an objective and fair news- spokeswoman. That is, until possibly, her closing remarks.

Could it have been a matter of simple character recognition, that caused Ms. Gruca to conclude, in her report of a Rasmussen poll numbers that, " it actually showed that Debra Medina had GROWN! Her, her jump was Really pretty Big, almost DOUBLE-DIGIT jump, after the last debate...Medina... said she felt she started out Slow, but Really picked up Momentum at the End." (Capitals added as my written interpretation of her verbal emphasis.)

How I wish for such candor among many of the newscasters of our day. There was no need of more commentary here.

They each presented the news with enough humility to recognize the magnitude of the potential impact this news piece covers. It obviously touched them at a deep level.

The tone of their reporting might be compared with something like witnessing a political Berlin Wall crashing. I believe it rang so true with who they are, that they simply couldn't help but ring back with Medina.

Thank you.

Yes, I was very uplifted too seeing these clips. These little snippets may not seem like much but they play a part in how many people form their perceptions of the candidates. It is also nice to see her get the recognition she deserves for her stellar debate performance. I was especially tickled by the first reporter. You usually don't see that type of candor in the media but I believe he was just objectively reporting the situation. It's about time they start recognizing what is going on. I mean, the disconnect between the media/political elite and the common people after the first debate was stunning. Everyone that watched that debate was talking about DEBRA afterwards. She was the #1 hottest search on Google in the hours after the debate. She won every online poll. Every article about the debate was flooded with comments praising Medina's performance. Kay Bailey Hutchison even did an internal poll, which she released to Paul Burka, that showed 37% thought Debra won the debate compared to only 17% for Hutchison and 16% for Perry. But unbelievably, the media largely dismissed her presence in the debate (although quite a few did admit she performed quite well). So it is nice to see some in the media start to recognize the buzz developing around her candidacy.

"unbelievably, the media largely dismissed her"

By what boundaries do you define "unbelievable".

Big-moneyed dynasties are at huge risk of being treated the same as common ordinary folks, and they can't abide it. No sir!

They can't defend their pet incumbents themselves without exposing their own agenda, so these elitist-pimps send out their media-hos to minimize any damage done to their masters.

Mods, shouldn't this be Front Page?

Just thought I'd make an appeal for you all to seriously consider why I believe this thread ought to become viral in a big way!

is nothing compared to Medina, and Perry better be afraid because there is still plenty of time to chew him up some more and spit him out! She can win this!

WOW!

WOW!

The Fox 4 reporter gushed

The Fox 4 reporter gushed over Medina, I assume thousands of Texans heard that last night and became intrigued.

When's the next poll?

The first 5 million supporters of Dr. Paul are 'early adopters.' The next 10 million will require a modified approach.

That was excellent!

Apparently Ms. Medina is doing quite well for herself...

with or without a Ron Paul endorsement!

A Ron Paul endorsement would probably hurt her. She seemed like a mainline conservative at that debate, which is what the sheeple want. They want freedom, but not TOO much freedom...
