I do not agree with seeking
I do not agree with seeking assistance from government for any situation. Think ahead.. what if the power goes off? what if we have a 5 foot blizzard. what if there is an earth quake.. what if I die tomorrow? how will my family live? Think ahead. Take care of yourself. Do not rely on government.. once you accept assistance they OWN you.

True...
However, some of these Tribes have been subject to governmental schooling, confinement and health care for the last 150 years. Those that resisted were imprisoned or killed, by the way. Look up government schools and Hopi someday.
Not saying that it is a good mindset.. just pointing out that it is there for a reason.
