Facebook blocks the search for "ron paul" allows "barack obama"

Go to Facebook and type in "ron paul" in the search box and hit enter. You will get the following response:
"Search is currently unavailable.
Please try again at a later time or right now."
Type in "barack obama" in the search box and hit enter and you get over 500 results. Amazing! The censorship and media bias in this election is unbelieveable!!!

This isn't the first time.
They've been caught doing this a few times now over the last couple months. Everytime I send emails to facebook about it and the next day it's fixed... but a week later the problem comes back.

"Search is currently unavaliable at this time" happens on facebook often. Facebook has no interest in blocking Ron Paul whatsoever. In fact, he probably brings them MORE traffic.

Regardless of whether you think they are doing it on purpose or not, it IS happening and something needs to be done about it.

Facebook is still blocking searches for Ron Paul
What do we do about this? Suggestions? Anyone?
You can all be right
It is certainly possible for the search to work on some attempts and not on others.
The cynical explanation would be that they are blocking only a portion of the requests to not make their behavior obvious. The happy explanation is that so many people are searching for RP that they are breaking Facebook!

Me three
When I try to search his name while logged in, I get an error. If I search when I am not logged in, I get about 4 pages of hits, but none are of Ron Paul's face book page. Then I logged back in, went to my profile and clicked on my "im a fan of: ron paul" link, I get his profile.

and I got the same error message, but not when I tried the other candidates.

I went to facebook and it permitted me to search RP...Over 160 results came up...

doubt that facebook has interest in blocking RP
i really don't see any reason why they would restrict RP searches... my facebook usage has gone up considerably because i have been sharing articles with friends on facebook...

Next, I searched for ‘Barrack Obama’, ‘Hillary Clinton’, ‘Rudy Giuliani’, ‘John McCain’, and ‘Mike Huckabee’. All of these returned results immediately. Although presidential candidates John McCain and Mike Huckabee were not the first of their namesake returned by the search, they were in the results.
After that, I searched for ‘Ron Paul’ again. The result?
Search is currently unavailable.

All of this was done in the span of 60 seconds.

What do you suppose is the cause of this phenomenon? Reports from various sources indicate that this is a widespread issue.

i am noticing from the comments that some of you aren't "official" supporters of ron paul on facebook or members of any of the MANY ron paul groups. if the search works for you, be sure to join them. also add the Election '08 application and vote for Dr. Paul!

then Hillary - went fine
then Ron again - this time I got a page full of irrelevant namesakes plus one "Peter Bagdasarianz" whose photo was identical to Dr Paul... Puzzling
supporters show up in search results
supporters can show up in search results if they have ron paul's name in their profile or officially support him as a candidate. this 'peter' character is clearly a supporter based on his picture. but odd that that one would match instead of other people named ron or paul.
