IF so what's the atmosphere like about the Perry, Hutchinson and Medina race? Does Medina really have a chance?

Thanks for any updates.

Giving you a general number, I can say that out of everyone that I have talked to about Debra, 80% are in favor of her.

This includes 2 Law enforcement and 1 retired LE, a Dem or 2 and many Rep's.

There is no doubt in my mind that she can win a run-off if not the Primary. Against any Dem in this state, she will WIN.

I live in Texas 8 mile west of Fort Worth.

The media has said some favorable things to say about Ms. Medina but as of lately they are challenging her on property tax which is fair. But the biggest news was that tarrant county had a straw poll that Ms. Medina won and this went unreported in all major news outlets including the star telegram {who reported the straw poll but didnt announce the winner}This shows that the media is reverting back to fear mode.WE need more signs although there is not many signs of any particulaer candidate more Medina signs would help Im planning to put out some signs today. If anyone wants me to put out sign for them if youre a not in Texas then send me an e-mail and ill send you my address.o you can send me more signs.

We all need signs.

There are few signs up for any candidate.

We need signs now and we need signs for the polls on the day of the election.

Signs, signs, signs in high populations areas.

We need signs.

If we can get her through the primarys she will win.

The problem as I see it is that most of the people that would vote for her will not vote in the Republican primary. We must encourage Democrats to vote in the Republican primary for her. On the Democrat side they all all about the same(tax more and grow the state government) as Kay and Gov. good hair. White will probably win hands down the Democratic nomination. There are probably 75 to 150k hispanic older voters that are RA (resident alien)card holders that vote in our state elections. Many of them have lived in Texas for 20-30 years without applying for citizenship. When the final election comes many of them will vote for the person with the hispanic surname. Hopefully it will be Medina vs. White. Please don`t read any bigotry into this it is just facts and most people in Texas realize it as such.

I've been talking to a couple of Republicans who have

voted for the neo-cons in the past, who are sick of both Kay Bailout and Bush Lite (Perry). Now that they see that Medina has a chance (due to the post-debate polls), they plan on voting for Medina in the primaries. Will she win the primary? She has a chance. She has a better chance if she can force a run-off, due to the grassroots.

I think her biggest opposition is going to be Bill White. I expect a lot of corporate money that would have otherwise gone to Bailout or Bush Lite to show up in White's campaign coffers. On the bright side, given the chance to debate White, she will win hands down.

So, yes, she has a chance--but it is going to depend primarily on the grassroots and her campaign to get her message out.

She is getting good press and media coverage...

Yes, north Houston

Debra was reported by the MSM backstage at the 2nd debate to be polling about 19% just before the 2nd debate.

Debra claims that she has already overaken Hutchinson post debate and I agree.

Regardless we are on he cusp of a revolution here.

There will be a runoff now for sure. It is a given. Perry can not get over 50% in the primary with Hutchinson and Debra exceeding 20%.

If Debra beats Hutchinson (and for me it is already clear she will) the underdog in Texas runoff history most usually wins.

This means Debra wins.

If you analyse the Texas election process and the runoff history you can easily in his context already give Debra better than 50% odds at becoming Governor of the great state of Texas.

God be with us.

The more people here about

The more people here about her the more she is catching on. I am hearing from people that don't usually pay attention to politics. Tehy heard about her from facebook, or an email from someone. The higher in the polls she goes the more momentum she will gain, as some people only want to vote for someone who "CAN" win. What she needs now is face time with the older voters. Republican voters over 55 are 90% likely to vote, as opposed to 25% when you get under 40 years of age.

interesting thanks... That's

interesting thanks...

That's good to hear.

Medina is certainly the best choice for Texans

In the Republican party any way. Perry and Kay Bailout Hutchison really really sink up the place.

However, our votes are counted by computers, not people so there is VERY little chance that she could win in those circumstances. I actually feel sorry for her knowing that she is SLAMMING them at the debates and each time sees an influx in both support and donations but also knowing that Diebold will have the final say as to who the people "voted" as there Governor.

As long as people vote and computers count, there isn't too much hope to the thought of "voting in our liberty."

Seriously, in Ron Paul's CD-14, 78% voted for him to be Congressman, and only 3% thought he should be President. Uh huh, yeah right.

I read here somewhere a long time ago: Live free or die bold.

Yep.

Nothing would make me happier than to see her win the Republican Nomination. But with the blasted computers doing the counting and Ol' Perry being buddy buddy with the Bilderberg members, there isn't much hope.

Please don't forget it's not

Please don't forget it's not the popular vote but the delegates and last time Texas was very close to the delegates give Ron Paul all our delegate votes. You know who led the charge? Debra Medina

I thought the Governor was done by popular vote?

I know how it works for Pres nominee, but thought it was different for Governor?

I was at the State Convention in Houston

as a delegate, and I will be there again. And I sure won't forget what happened there. With Tina Berkiser being gone to stump for Perry, there is a least a better chance with Cathy Adams as the Chairman.
