Liberty activists made a serious mistake by ignoring the creation of COINTELPRO, and by not resisting the illegal and treacherous tactics that were used. Even before 911 it was possible to convince people that our security required that we allow the FBI to "cut corners" for the "good of America". At that time the FBI seemed to be defending liberty rather than suppressing dissent. While COINTELPRO was allegedly terminated in 1971, FOIA requests have shown that COINTELPRO still exists, and is even more aggressive that ever. At one time COINTELPRO was only used against those who worked for tyranny.

If you understand the meaning of the tactic "to expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize activities" you will understand that the person who is most likely of being a Fed, is the one who involves human rights activists in activities that have no effect on those who are building tyranny, and activities that will destroy the credibility of the human rights activists.
Misdirecting activities involves the goal of actually taking over the leadership. Taking over the leadership is the highest priority. Beware of new comers who volunteer to lead. Also understand that often those, who are working for intelligence agencies, do not even know who it is, for whom they are working. Disrupting only becomes the goal when there is a failure to take over the leadership. These two goals are summarized as "rule or ruin".
Misdirecting activities is a fairly simple thing in organizations that put their agenda up for a vote. Infiltrators simply present alternative agendas until they have the organization bogged down with foolishness.
By law, political parties, and political candidates, are regulated by the Federal Election Commission. Political parties operate according to parliamentary procedure; and therefore do not have a fixed body of principles. Political party platforms come up for a VOTE.
Federal Election Commission (which means the whole federal government) has access to everything that we do INSIDE OF A PARTY, and they dictate how we will do it. Political parties are an easy target for control by government shills, and most of the government shills will have extensive experience working inside of a political party.
Central control is the strength of our adversaries. Grass roots organizing is our strength. If we stay organized at the local level then they cannot take us over from the top.

Imagine two armies facing each other: One is commanded by a General; the other is run by a steering committee.
In the army is that is commanded by a General, the General gives the order to CHARGE, AND THE ARMY GOES INTO A CHARGE.
In the army that is run by a steering committee, the Chairman of the steering committee says "I move that we load our weapons, Is there a second to that motion?"
Everyone except one infiltrator says "I second that motion!"
The Chairman of the steering committee says "Is there any discussion?"
Everyone except one infiltrator says "Sir, we had better start shooting back. At the rate that they are killing us, very soon we will not have a quorum!"

WHO WOULD WIN THAT BATTLE?
If an organization does not operate according to parliamentary procedure the infiltrators will attempt to change that. If the leadership understands this tactic they will decline to make this change. The infiltrator will then move on to creating dissension among the members over this, and over any other issue that they can raise.
Misdirecting activities by presenting alternative agendas usually involves promoting hoaxes. Those who are building tyranny would love to convince people that we are all
a bunch of paranoid nuts, so that we will we unable to warn people about the building of tyranny. Those who are building tyranny would be more capable of convincing people that we are paranoid nuts, if they could convince a segment of the human rights activists to run around telling people that the clouds, and the street signs, are out to get us.
Effective organizations have a fixed permanent agenda. Members vote for that agenda by joining the group. Anyone who wishes to vote against that agenda does so by leaving the group.
If you understand the meaning of the tactic "infiltrating groups with persons instructed to disrupt the group; sending anonymous or forged letters designed to promote strife between groups" THEN you will know that a myriad of personal attacks and whisper campaigns is a part of the COINTELPRO program. Only the accusation that cannot withstand a demand for evidence will be whispered behind the back of the accused.
Often an article such as this is an effective way of "smoking out" the government shill. If there is a government shill reading this we invite you to identify yourself with your usual tactics of ridicule, innuendo, and personal attacks.
Those who would like to identify government shills might want to take note of who it is who objects to the distribution of this article. It would be safe to conclude that if one were to throw a rock into a pen full of pigs, and one of them squealed, that the one that had squealed, would be the one that you had hit. No one's name is mentioned here, but sometimes there will be someone who will claim that this is an accurate description of themselves. In that case we might agree with them.

Creating Strife Among Human Rights Activists
It is VERY simple: Those who spend their time fighting tyranny, are human rights activists. Those who spend their time fighting human rights activists are working for the advancement of tyranny. We learn who the most effective human rights activists are, by seeing who the government shills attack. We learn who the government shills are, by seeing who attacks the most effective human rights activists. This would be a consistently reliable way of identifying government shills except for the fact that government shills are incredibly clever at deceiving others into doing their dirty work.
After the initiation of hostility the infiltrator expects one of two reactions:
1) Appeasement
or
2) Resistance
Appeasement leads to the accomplishment of the primary objective of taking control.
Resistance leads to the accomplishment of the secondary objective of creating strife.
The only effective response to the initiation of hostility is to restructure all activities so as to avoid the person who is creating the strife. SWAT THE FLY, AND MOVE ON.
Ignore the initiation of strife, and go back to defending liberty.
Deceiving Human Rights Activists into Supporting Hoaxes
We can defend freedom, or we can fall for hoaxes. We cannot do both.
There is a presence, in the freedom movement, of persons who attempt to distract human rights activists away from defending liberty, by seducing them into all sorts of silly programs; which would ultimately waste resources, make them appear to be foolish,
and cause them to lose credibility.
This includes claims that the vapor trails; that jets always leave, are a plot to poison us.
This includes claims that the stickers, placed on the back of road signs by manufacturers, are some sort of trail blazing for a future enemy army.
This even includes a propaganda blitz to BAN WATER, by using its scary sounding chemical name: Dihydrogen Monoxide
Very few people will actually fall for the "tin foil hat" hoax, but this is used as a "straw man" fallacy to ridicule those who expose the real dangers to liberty.
Deceiving Human Rights Activists into Creating Class Struggle
by Promoting Ethnic Hatred.
The conspiracy, that we fight, is NOT a group of religious people. They believe in NOTHING else except power, and money, for themselves. The theory that they work for the benefit of a religion, or a nation, or a race, ascribes to them a self sacrificing characteristic; which they do not have. When they are in power, they persecute religious people of all faiths. Neither virtue nor sin is hereditary. There are good and bad in all kinds.
The problem is, that in order to have credibility you MUST be consistently right. Slanting everything so that it always comes up ethnic, just discredits the rest of your information. If there is one cockroach in the sugar bowl most people will throw out the whole bowl of sugar.
There are people of all ethnicities who want to be free, and are working to oppose tyranny. There are people of all ethnicities who want to be dictators, and are working to oppose freedom.

The effect is to neutralize patriotic enthusiasm by turning it into hatred of other victims of tyranny. How does that effect the defense of liberty? The conspirators who would destroy liberty actually "kill two birds with one
stone" by fueling such disinformation:
1. The OBVIOUS effect is to dispense with the opposition to tyranny, by diverting the efforts of the patriots toward a "decoy". If the disinformation is successful, the person who would have ordinarily been opposing real criminal conspirators, now makes himself busy, trying to destroy the life of some little cobbler, or tailor, or of some innocent children at play.
2. Perhaps an even more important function is the creation of class struggle. When a nation goes to war against ITSELF anyone can take it over. One expert on this sort of attack, Mao Tse Dung, summed it up quite well: "The stronghold is broken easily from the INSIDE". Divide and conquer is a VERY OLD trick. Attempting to Waste the Time of Human Rights Activists
The primary methods for wasting the time of human rights activists is by forcing them to respond to personal attacks, whisper campaigns, and by endless debate about trivia or hoaxes.
Endless debate about trivia or hoaxes is extremely easy to accomplish in organizations which vote on their agenda. Wasting the time of human rights activists is often accomplished automatically by the pursuit of the other goals that are discussed above as described by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover: "to expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize activities".
The only solution is to just set the distractions of infiltrators aside, and go back to work opposing tyranny. In this way neutralizers do not waste the time of freedom activists. Just dispense with them, with a standard response. Reviewing this article is an effective standard response. Understanding who is really doing this will help immensely:

You can't be sure on the blue and green, but I don't imagine very many purple accounts are infiltrators. Those were created way back before any collectivists thought Ron Paul was a threat to their corruption.
The best way to get an idea of where someone is coming from is to look at their profile and posting history. Although infiltrators will try to make that look credible too, it's usually full of fluff.
Because, the good thing is, if infiltrators study the issues and Constitution enough to make thoughtful intelligent comments and replies, they convert themselves into real Ron Paul supporters.

Of course, when I tried to get people here to THINK ABOUT IT... suggest they look around, see if anyone does anything suspicious... They can't see it. Our little pet COINTELPRO fella is such a cutie pie, such a sweet boy... He is just flighty, that is why nothing ever really comes together...

By and large, FBI Agents are not opposed to our Constitution. The vast majority of them, like other law enforcement officers are patriotic citizens. There are renegade agents who will do the bidding of politicians, just as in any large police department, but they are the exception.
The way law enforcement can be turned against is is two pronged. First, the politicians indoctrinate law enforcement about returning Iraqi veterans, people opposed to the Federal Reserve, those who want to get US out of the United Nations, those who opposed continual undeclared wars & c. These individuals are portrayed as "potential terrorists"
At the same time, these politicians plant stories about atrocities allegedly committed by law enforcement on websites that we visit. This portrays law enforcement as "the Gestapo", an agent of the very people who are working to subvert our Constitution.
To accomplish their goal, our criminal politicians need to demonize us in the eyes of law enforcement, and to make law enforcement look like agents of tyranny. We cannot allow this to happen.
We need to counter this with a two-pronged attack. First, we need to be skeptical of the horror stories that continue to pop up about the cop who tasered an 80 year old lady in a wheelchair. And secondly, we need to stay on good terms with law enforcement. We need to keep them apprised of our efforts, and to educate them. At the same time, we need to expose the machinations of our politicians, and their goal of destroying freedom for all of us.
And we need to police our own ranks for agents provacateure, seeking to get us involved in questionable activities. If you see something involving efforts to involve us in illegal or violent efforts, bring these people to the attention of local law enforcement. And always carry a camera.

We the people, both public servants and citizens, all have our Constitution in common. The Constitution is designed to protect all of the people from tyrants in government.
The real infiltrators are those at the top trying to wield power, and international organizations, doing everything they can to undermine and violate our Constitution, while trying to divide and play Americans against each other.

But we have to remember that if we give up on our Constitution, and the defense of liberty, then the livelihood of everyone's family and future is in jeopardy.

Well, that is how the FBI lost Mike German...
Mike German is a former FBI agent who gave a shit about civil liberties. He defected to the ACLU, where he is one of the foremost authorities about fusion centers.
Even though it's a violation of the First Amendment and the Code of Federal Regulations, this kind of infiltration has been used against dissidents of all stripes. I know of a locally prominent peace activist who was spied on by the Maryland State Police and the Baltimore City Police. This was done by a lady cop who posed as a fellow activist who attended not only public gatherings and protests, but also went to small planning meetings which were not open to the general membership of the group. It's a long story (with details I am not sure I am supposed to share publicly) but the peace activist eventually discovered that this woman was giving the information to the City Police, who were directly giving the info to the NSA.
Not to pound the fusion center drum again, but why not? This activist was also listed as a terrorist on one of the participating databases of the Maryland Coordination and Analysis Center (MCAC), which is Maryland's fusion center. This story broke in the local news about two years ago; an independent counsel was asked to investigate this incident of spying (which eventually was found to involve over 50 Baltimore area activists), which was published as the Sachs report. The ACLU was careful to point out that the report, which focused on the activities of the Maryland State and Baltimore City Police, had little to say about the involvement of federal agencies in this spying, including the Maryland fusion center. What is more...they don't even know exactly when the spying started or if the ACLU was able to discover all of the targeted groups (there were more than a dozen, and most of them were left-wing groups).

There are very few honest men on the fire or police forces. That is a fact, and you really need to understand it. Truly, there are very few honest people at all.
Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

I'm not sure where Fairyland is, so I really couldn't tell you. What I can tell you is that law enforcement agents are going to live under the same tyranny as the rest of us. Why would you think that they are more interested in criminal pursuits than in enjoying the benefits of freedom?
We need to continue to educate law enforcement just as we educate anyone else who will listen. If they are here to monitor us, they must be listening. If we are in fact, not involved in what we are accused of, it will soon be apparent. We need to take that opportunity to point the finger at the real terrorists.
Don't run away and stick your head in the sand. You have to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself. Everything our criminal politicians do makes our case more obvious. I have been in this fight for over forty years. And I intend to stay in it until I stop breathing.

I think it's good that so many alphabet agencies have openly stated that their folks are here and elsewhere. I think it's good because possibly despite the time they put into sites like this they are probably sleeping sheeple like the rest. Their involvement here gives them a "bit o' truth" every day, or at least every visit. Over time this truth must coagulate inside their minds, maybe they even joke about topics around the break room table...and then someday one of them, or some of them, or maybe even all of them will have an epiphany, and it will come from their exposure to the truth and fundamental reality of Liberty that they get here (and elsewhere). In essence, the sleep or the hypnosis will crack one day, and it will only crack because of a truth they cannot deny nor shake from their psyche...and some of that amalgam will be the words and ideas we put out here...so, come sniff truth and Liberty, it is a rose by no other name.

While your reply is decidedly upbeat, it appears to be a pollyanna appeal.
The government moles, operative and infiltrators are evil. They are liars, cynical, divisive and paid to disintegrate the liberty movement.
While it's nice to think that they will get some exposure to truth here, and they will, it may penetrate the skulls of about 1 out of 100 at best, with a most likely scenario of 1 out of 1000.
It's important that our liberty activists be educated and always vigilant. They don't have to be paranoid, but they do have to be aware at all times.
Please don't attempt to disarm someone's vigilence to a real and present real-time threat.

we can't "say" anything, we simply type...the conclusion that I've come to is that the main engine of tyranny is hate. hate your enemy and desire to abolish him, her, them. Annihilation is the only solution found in a hate based reality.

Then, just to chase this...
a little longer...
Fact is that you accuse me of attempting to hijack people's preperations to fight tyranny by pointing out that even tyrants and their agents are people too. If we fight for Liberty, why then should we not fight for theirs as well? Another fact is that you call a belief in victory without war excessive optimism. Is it destructive to seek non-violent means to conquer slavery?And lastly you condescend to imagine that I cannot fathom the real jeopardy we are in defending Liberty in this day and age (or any before). I'll leave this last unanswered because sometimes obtuse notions should lie as they are.

Let's revisit some of your writings...
"Please don't attempt to disarm someone's vigilence to a real and present real-time threat."
Is that advice, or an order? Is vigilence to defending life, Liberty, and the pursuit of happiness not inclusive of understanding the humanity of your enemy? Or, is a compartmentalized individual simply fodder for the killing field? Have you known truth all your life? Or did some kind-hearted person take the time and love of fellow humanity to spell out the situation to you?
Where did you get so cynical? NOW, don't think to treat me like a dog...
