In support of Debra
In what continues to baffle media outlets and puzzle politicians, candidates keep popping up out of nowhere early in the state elections. The big difference this time around is that they are bringing voters and support with them. These are not the weird, off beat activists trying to save screech owls or start their own currency. These are business owners and teachers rising to the patriotic call of duty.
One such business woman turned gubernatorial candidate is Debra Medina from Texas. With her
command of the Constitution and pertinent issues facing Texans, Medina has risen quickly in the political debates and made quite an impressive showing against Rick Perry and Kay Bailey Hutchison. Medina is all "down-home" with her folksy Texas drawl and country quips. And while she has been known to pack a firearm, make no mistake, Medina is no Sarah Palin. Her conservatism goes beyond the fluff and populism of most in the Republican Party and means to make radical changes. Medina is a true, Ron Paul Republican and like her mentor, is all business.

While watching the debates, I enjoyed Debra's "all business" attitude that is expressed without being rude/abrupt. She carries it well.
