But the apple doesn't appear to fall far from the tree, unfortunately. Perhaps he can be converted. As of now, I'm not the least bit impressed with his political ideology and/or political choices. I always thought he was more of a Constitutional type guy. Evidently, I was incorrect in that assumption.
I like your description of Nugent as, "a Constitutional type guy". It would seem that he does have his feet firmly planted in hot air.
Words ought to mean what they've always meant, but if you're a really talented-enough Constitutional type guy, you too can make them say only what you want, to support those who selectively ignore their constitutionally limited powers.
Ted, if you read this, you might want to call in sick that day with a bad case of 'Rat Scratch Fever. And if part of your perks is to go hunting with Cheney, you might really want to pass that up too.
For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it. - Patrick Henry

i knew ted was lost when he continues his relationship with the NRA instead of Gunowners of America. i wonder how ted feels about the latest signing off (with the UN)on taking our guns. it seems to me that he is all talk and no follow through. i listened to ted white and blue with my sweetie(who thinks ted is the bomb) on the way to texas. i agreed with a lot of what ted said, but disc number 5 showed how ted is a bit under educated.
i would give anything to have ted see the light- it would do so much in waking texans up!! thanks for the contact info...
Too bad for Ted... it looks as though he still may not have woken up. TED, IF YOU'RE READING THIS, WAKE UP BUDDY!!!
Does she only endorse candidates who are leading in the polls regardless of that candidate's stance on the issues?

We've already establised what she is...it's just a matter of 'haggling over the price'
Sarah is for Sarah..she doesn't have many truly sound principles and the few times when she tries to express them she comes across as incoherent. She's a 'simplistic populist' and opportunist.
"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd
"she doesn't have many truly sound principles"?
True, sound principles cannot be effectively expressed with a compromised conscience. That's why her delivery is so lame.
have the whacked out establishment neo's are there any more?! lets promote it! Its a turn off for the grassroots. :P
The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!
Total neo-con tactics. Neo-con Palin endorsing both Rand Paul AND Rick Perry??? Whatever.
To the neophytes in politics, especially those interested in the R3VOLution, this will be incredibly confusing to them. These scum-of-the-earth neo-cons just want to blur the lines --- for instance a person new to the movement might think, "if Palin endorsed Rand Paul, and then Rick Perry, then that must mean whoever else she endorses must be OK."........NOT!!!!!!
Try to suck our movement into their slimy blob...don't think so.
As for Nugent, who cares? He should stick to what he does best and that's play guitar. Couldn't stand him at "Glenn Beck's Good Ole Boy Tea Party."
Obama = O.ne B.ig A.ss M.istake A.merica
for anyone here who thought Palin endorsing Rand is such a great thing ... here you see the inconsistency of her and the neo-con GOP she is part of ... as for Nugent - he is most likely a confused individual or getting paid well - if he doesn't get that Debra is pro
2nd ammendment and not just rhetoric -
What you see here is old establishment doing everything to not let go ... they are trying to make this seem like it is only between Perry and Huchinson ... I really hope the grassroots of the entire state of Texas
do what we know that can do and that is vote Medina for a great upset and surprise and shock the state and nation.
"I really hope the grassroots of the entire state of Texas do what we know that can do and that is vote Medina for a great upset and surprise and shock the state and nation."
I see Palins' conflict between endorsing Rand Paul, a true Liberty Conservative, and the likes of Rick Perry, (the neo-con poster-boy of the year), as a problem of her own making.
I thought from the beginning, when I first heard of Palins' endorsing of Rand, that her endorsement would more likely be a burden to Rand that he would need to overcome, rather than something that would really help him.
Palins' Perry-wrinkle powerplay looks rather pathetic when compared to Rands' constitutional consistency. It is Sarah that's got some 'splainin' to do for her mixed messages.
Ted Nugents' endorsement of ole Perry-wrinkle is a sad story of good talent being wasted on a bad effort!
That the Newg would likely stand with this Rogue Lite, is sadly not surprising, as I listened to him admit, in a recent AJ interview with Nugent, to being a drug war supporter.
If Ted does go though with this charade, then might I suggest that he dedicate his hit, "Stranglehold" to celebrate Perrys' long record of unconstitutional power-grabbing.
The difference between Debra Medina and Rick Perry-wrinkle is as wide as the actual Constitutionally-sound declarations held by the members of Gun Owners of America and the shallow protests of the NRA (No Real Authority).
If Sarah Palin does this, then wouldn't she be known forever after as "Rouge Lite": someone pretending to go towards the restoration of the rule of law, but intentionally stopping short of having it apply to themselves?
If Ted Nugent plays to this devils' tune, then shouldn't we question his seemingly conservative posture as nothing more than mere pretense?
“I look forward to Ted’s performance, and to the opportunity to join both him and Sarah Palin in sharing the success story Texas has achieved through our state’s unwavering commitment to conservative values based on the belief in limited government and individual freedom.”said Gov. Perry.
Yeah, righhht?! Give me a break!
Debra Medina could do these two a BIG favor, by appealing to what they say they stand for, and offering her platform positions to their admirers, and to them, as a chance for them to come along or be left behind.
"Rouge" is cheek makeup and the french word for red.
"Rogue" is a mischevious person or person operating outside normal controls
Grammar Nazi!!!! :D
~wobbles but doesn't fall down~
My bad! I neglected in my haste to spell rogue right.
No need of rouge for me. I'm already rouge with my own embarrassment!
Palin has not proven herself to be a true grassroots candidate and with her backing Perry and John McCain I think she is going to start losing the Conservative vote in Texas. I don't think she drinks the same Tea that we do.
As far as Nugent is concerned. Maybe he will come around later. Although I think he should stick with hunting and give up the six string Cat Gut Fever.
interference - trying to blur the liberty philosophy -
it is the GOP way to make compromise .... I don't trust her one bit or those she works for
He was one of the ones we were going to approach for support.
Chuck Norris will probably puss out too.
Jimmie Vaughan ... hopefully he is for her
with Sean Hannity on the ticket as speaker....
Nugent's an idiot.
"Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it." -- Joseph Goebbels
Yea, I was surprised when I heard him on Alex Jones one times. But then again....
He's good on the second amendment. That's about it. Which still doesn't explain his attachment to Perry. He's just a dope.
