Tom Woods, renown author and columnist endorses Debra Medina
by Nelda Carrizales Skevington on Feb 04, 2010
WHARTON, TX, Thursday, February 4, 2010 – Today, the Medina For Texas campaign proudly announces Mr. Tom Woods, best selling author and well-known columnist, has endorsed Texas gubernatorial candidate, Debra Medina.

The Medina Campaign is very honored and excited to accept this endorsement from one of the leading conservative minds of our time," said Debra Medina.

What an insufferable bore the Texas gubernatorial race would be without Debra Medina. She is giving her fellow Texans a rare choice. They can pick a business-as-usual drone and make the New York Times happy. Or, by choosing a real human being who speaks her mind and tells the truth, they can teach America that there is nothing inevitable about being governed by cliché-spouting robots. Debra's knowledge of history, economics, and much else, and her contempt for the phony conservatives who have sold Texans out time and again, make her the obvious choice for a thinking person -- and for anyone who'd like to kick sand in the face of the political establishment. Vote for anyone else and absolutely nothing changes, as usual. Vote for Debra Medina and the bad guys tremble. You can't put a price tag on that. Don't let us down, Texas -- the whole country is watching," said Tom Woods.

Mr. Woods is well known, not only for his New York Times best selling books, but also his many appearances on the Fox News Channel and hundreds of radio interviews. He graduated from Harvard with a bachelor’s degree in history and then attained his Masters and Doctorate degrees from Columbia University.

Woods is currently traveling the United States and will serve as Master of Ceremonies in the upcoming CPAC (Conservative Political Action Committee) meeting in Washington D.C., where he will be joined by guest speaker Judge Andrew Napolitano, among others.

Go Debra, GO!

Kay sorority sister miss popularity I got a law degree senator

is just going to hate it if she comes in third. chuckle.

Not to even mention that Debra looks alive and vibrant on the stage compared to Kay's rather old, fake blonde shriveled up skinny self.

I'll have to admit I thought Kay would outshine slinky, sleezy ricky, but guess not.

I just pray Debra grows fast, faster, fastest.

I also hope/ pray the same.

I also hope/ pray the same. Not that God would give us what we deserve (cause we deserve the worste) but have mercy on us and let us elect the best one that will give Him glory and us Freedom...

I almost expect to feel like Jonah...

Is this true ?

God don't tell me this is a gag. I read this in the comments of the GOP poll on the site you linked to.
it reads:

herto wrote on 2/4/2010 3:15:25 PM:

According to the Jeff Bolton show on KLIF earlier this morning, it was reported that 4-5 staffers from the Rick Perry campaign are leaving to join with the Medina campaign. This has reportedly been confirmed with a Medina campaign staff member.

If this is true, these people see the first hand writing on the wall.

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

Yeah i saw that too

My first thought was spies, infiltrators for Perry. Good old paranoia :) . Then again maybe the defectors are legit. It would make a great news piece if true. Has anyone confirmed this? Do we know who they are? Are they being watched carefully just in case?

Presently, I have no way to

Presently, I have no way to confirm this. We will have to watch to see if it hits another blog.

MEDINA 63%~ Perry 22%

For what polls are worth..I always vote anyway!! Only takes a minute!

Need Dems/Indy'd and Rep in the Primary vote for Medina

:o)... So can anyone extract anything out of the above numbers? I would assume we simply need about 500,000 paulites to vote in Texas. The party is not relevant as Texas has an open Primary... We take'em all...

After election Texas

McCain 4,479,328 55%
Obama 3,528,633 44%

whoa...

Deb's kickin at 64%... yeah!

I was looking for the 2008

I was looking for the 2008 contributions to RP and couldnt find it. My hope is that we atleast had 1 million people from Texas give him money, and vote for him. If this be the case, we have a great chance in early voting to kick some RHINO butt.

ok

arent we just creating a deceptive poll result here, i mean if your from texas fine but your not going to get accurate poll results if everyone from here votes on these polls, we are not all from texas and i would asssume that most votes for perry and kay bailout are. we should stop voting in these polls if not from texas to see where we really stand

My Thoughts

In no particular order:

We know it isn't a true "poll" as statisticians would define one; these type never are, so there is no obligation or reason to worry about that--and no one else will, anyway. So, we can't trust it to be accurate.

People supporting the underdog always vote disproportionately.

Presumably, they have this poll for "entertainment" or to attract/keep viewers/traffic, so going there does not conflict with their purpose in putting it up.

If they don't want me (a Libertarian) voting for another party's nominee, they could say so.

If they don't want me (a Californian) voting for my preference in Texas, they could say so.

I wouldn't vote twice, and I would tend to respect such requests. If they require registration, I often don't vote.

If this were Dr. Paul's congressional race, I do have a right to support his campaign, because he does represent me and vote on matters that apply to me, even if I can't vote for him. The way I look at this governors' race, I'm supporting someone I hope will run for president someday.

What do you think? http://consequeries.com/

Um...

Last presidential election you could make good money online botting by proxy mainstream media polls for candidate _____.

I'm sure that doesn't happen anymore, especially for Perry... /sarcasm.

~Live life to its fullest, with an open heart, open arms and most important... an open mind~

I would like to see a poll restricted somehow to only Texans

but you cannot unilaterally suggest that our side play by some non existent rules on a unscientific free-for-all online poll and expect the other candidates' supporters to do likewise.

We will never get much recognition for winning them, but they did you know there would be a much ado about it.
No wins for them is a win for us. It also shows the dedication of Medina's supporters versus the all but non-existent Perry and KBH supporters, which is another win for us.

Many may not be from Texas but Texas affects the rest of the country and we would like to help so that our states can follow your lead. Also some of us may also consider moving to Texas if Medina is elected. So I say as long as they're doing nothing to restrict it I say go ahead and vote, wherever your from.

Bigger than Texas!?

Isn't this race "Bigger than Texas"?

If some of us are sending her money and other help, why not help her in these polls too?

The "Official" polls are all Texans only, these web polls are popularity contests we can influence from afar. If she gets high numbers maybe some real Texans will give her another look?

Indeed, this is exaclty what

Indeed, this is exaclty what the point is about this race. It will start in this state, if we want it too.
