My Apologies To samadamscw And DPers

To sam regarding my thread:
http://www.dailypaul.com/node/123543

I want to apologize for my exuberance and over-zealous attempt to get you to own up to my calling you out for what I feel is slanderous toward Mr.Bob Schulz.

I allowed my enthusiasm for something I feel I have waited all my life for, to over take my sense of civility.

When you did as you agreed to do, and you detailed what you thought constituted calling Bob a charlatan, though I still disagree with this, I failed to live up to my side by responding in a coherent, reasoned fashion to satisfy receipt of your findings, instead, out of frustration with you, I offered snide and mean remarks that did not deal directly with what you posted, and I am sorry for this :(

I want to thank you for posting what you did for clarity sake and I ask your forgiveness for my weakness and I prefer to extend my hand to you in friendship instead of enmity.

Let us agree to disagree on this and allow one another our own unique, personal activism; yours for the Libertarians and mine for Articles of Freedom and instead of slanderous comments being left, we endeavor, when needed, to offer one another constructive criticisms that inform one another and all.

Let us trust that our cumulative efforts will one day succeed at bringing true freedom for all.

It is well to apologize for how one displays commitment and loyalty, but never apologize for having this commitment and loyalty.

If I disappear from a discussion please forgive me. My 24-7 business requires me to split mid-sentence to serve them. I am not ducking out, I will be back later to catch up.

All Right Then!

Let's get on with it!

I had it out

with someone else here on DP as it was frustrating to deal with. I practiced as much patience as I could before the thread was shut down.

This person and I are now communicating on this site as well as off.

My motto is always, the one who loses it first, loses! But in the heat of the discussion, politicians may rough up the other side, but they still work together on many issues.

In a way, we're all politicians here....

It takes a lot to apologize. Nice Anisha....

Agreed. Water under the bridge.

I look forward to any collaboration we can have in the future.

Best of luck in your endeavors with the Articles of Freedom.

(and I'll do my best not to be so inflammatory in the future. Sorry to put you through that.)

Anisha, you very bright and knowledgeable

I love reading your posts. I embarressed myself the other day here and felt bad about it in relation to someones post that I thought was mine. I'm ticky when it comes to posts being modified without idientifying themselves, so I jumped on it not realizing the post was a duplicate made by someone else.

Anisha, you're awesome. :)

I commend you and respect you for posting this.

Respect, Anisha!

Well said! You are a beautiful, passionately committed voice here and I am thankful for you and love your input always!

I did not follow this argument

But I have been involved in my own, and I appreciate your ability to apologize and to work things out in a civil manner.

One of the things I that I try to do on this site (though I don't always succeed) is to maintain a level of courtesy and civility, in honor of Dr. Paul. He is always a gentleman, regardless of his disagreements with others, and this is one of the many things that we can learn from him.

Thank you to everyone for helping to maintain this high standard on the Daily Paul.

Michael, you started this!

And aren't we all grateful and thankful.

The situation referred to in this OP is unknown to me, but I, for one, appreciate seeing hands extended across to one another in apology and with an offer of camaraderie to forward the principles of liberty. We don't all have to agree on every detail on how to get there, but understanding goes a long way toward keeping our ultimate mutual goals clearly in mind, and therefore, that much more attainable.

Anisha's example, and Michael's and the many others who recently shared their mea culpas, all indicate that we recognize our common goals as greater and grander than our squabbling differences. This is our Secret Weapon and, I trust, key to the success of the liberty movement.

Well done!

Gotta say...

This is what will actually save our Republic, if y'all want to do so.

Here is an activist and freedom-fighter that just ~got~ what freedom means.

It is quite fine if we have opposing opinions, as long as each of us fights for the right for others to HAVE them.

Having the courtesy to meet someone half-way on an issue and agree to disagree takes no little amount of courage.

Cudos Anisha... I'm impressed.

Not that my opinion should ever matter to anyone, of course.

But what she just did should.

~Live life to its fullest, with an open heart, open arms and most important... an open mind~

They both matter.
