Legalize Cannabis To Legalize Freedom!

“On a global scale, the plant that produces the most net biomass is hemp. It’s the only annually renewable plant on Earth able to replace all fossil fuels. We predict that the net effect of ending American hemp prohibition will be to generate “ripple effect” economics — a revitalized American agriculture producing hemp as the raw material for a multitude of industries creating millions of good jobs for skilled and and semi-skilled professional workers throughout America. The resulting wealth will remain in local communities and with farmers, smaller businesses and entrepreneurs like you!”

-Jack Herer

“The green economy based upon the use of agricultural resources to supply industry will create a diversified locally based system of production. This decentralized green economy will enable everyone to participate and share in the wealth of a truly free market democracy. For there can be no true democracy unless every citizen has the opportunity to share in the wealth of the nation.”

-Jack Herer

“The “catch” is obvious: The energy companies own most of the petrochemical, pharmaceutical, liquor and tobaccos companies, and are intertwined with insurance companies and banks.
According to the press, many politicians now in power are bought and paid for by the energy companies, and their U.S. government arm is the CIA – “The Company”– (Robert Ludlum, etc.). The Bush, Sr., Clinton, and Bush, Jr. Administrations were/are uniquely tied to oil, newspapers, pharmaceuticals – and the CIA.”

Monsanto is the Ecological equivalent of the federal reserve system. Printing gentetically traceable seeds like fiat dollars and eliminating competing seed banks.

FROM THE FED TO THE FRIDGE, WE LIVE IN A WORLD OF DERIVATIVES.... DERIVATIVES ARE NOT REAL BUT WE PRETEND THEY ARE BY WAY OF GOVERNMENT.

IF WE LEGALIZE CANNABIS WE LEGALIZE FREEDOM!

Jack and I both know that the decentralization of resources upon legalization due to the efficacy of Hemp in local markets would substitute the Federal Reserve System with a agrarian solution… a free farmers republic based on sufficient permaculture practices to maintain cost efficient strategies for local communities to set the foundation for free market production.

Have you heard of the mustard seed? The seed that shares nutrients instead of competing for nutrients… all the seeds live because they sustain themselves on just enough to sustain productivity, grow into the sky, and create a perfect nesting for birds… Jesus told this story because he knew that the permaculture republic was our place in this universe

Illogical Ways of Political Idiots

This is their argument: “Because it is your body, it is your choice whether you can abort or not. But, by the way, if you inhale that joint, we’ll lock you up.”

In reality, it is your body and you can poison it if you please, but that unborn, indefensible child in your womb is not your body. Rather, it is a precious little child, deserving of the best of care. It is not a choice. It is an awesome obligation.

Those who argue that if we allow people to poison their bodies, the burden of medicating them will fall upon the taxpayers do not understand the Constitution. The Constitution does not put the burden of medicating others on the taxpayers. Our miscreant representatives lost their way and placed this unconstitutional burden on us. Ideally, the liberalization of health care has to go hand-in-hand with the legalization of substances. Tough sell, but we need to chip away at it, unrelentingly.

Plano TX

The argument for Pro-Life should not be one that institutes

government intervention into Abortion Markets because it is not up to the government to decide a collective approach to intervening into the family institution. It is more important to educate others on the medicinal ways to prevent unwanted pregnancy for instance eating Neem Oil will work perfectly!

Once free markets come to fruition without having to consistently delegate a body of representatives, we the people will socially change and mold the marketplace into a healthy culture… once we have achieved this goal than practices such as abortion will become obsolete as more are aware of sound medicinal solutions like the one listed above.

The role of a farmer, in Fukuoka's mind, is an observer, not an intervener, of the natural order in his/her particular landscape. How is that any different than Hayek in regards to Economics?

It all sounds plausible

One question - Where does the estimate come from that hemp could replace all fossil fuels and be the cure all for all these demands. Has this been calculated and quantified, that is a tall order and if it's not true would cast doubt over all the other projections.

Hemp could replace all fossil fuels,

it is discussed in Jack Herer’s book “Emperor Wears No Clothes” I am sure you have heard of it. I know you’re thinking wow, fossil fuels … umm that’s a lot of stuff, but pretty much all of the derivatives of fossil fuels come from energy, paper, and plastics… all of which can be substituted with Hemp. Hemp has clean derivatives, the book is free online and it will explain his conclusions.. very interesting!

Love this and thank you

Especially the seed wars thread, but agree that instead of throwing them on the side of the nasty road, plant them in good spots everywhere. Ha! But I have a question. Point me to the right direction where I can find info between the difference of Hemp and marajuana. I know they are in the same family, but isn't hemp the one with all these properties you speak of?

thanks

YES... hemp based local microeconomy...

I don't understand

why more people would rather gather around the guy who says that everybody on the Daily Paul is getting on his nerves than come to this thread and try to plan tactics on how to market our ideas to compatible movements?

Agree with the articles

Agree with the articles except free market democracy is a contradiction in terms.

The reason hemp is illegal is because of democracy and the buying of votes to outlaw it so companies like Dupont could corner the markets

Respectfully disagree...

I'm with you on the reason it is illegal but I don't think free market and democracy is a contradiction in terms. I believe the free market and democracy are the same principle applied to different mediums... economic and political.

Congrats on the 70 pounds bro/sis!

NOTE: I am not advocating violence in any way. The content of the post is for intellectual, theoretical, and philosophical discussion. FEDS, please don't come to my house.

Free markets do not exist in

Free markets do not exist in a democracy because 51 percent are always voting in laws/rules that favor their preferences over a free market.

In a free market hemp would not be illegal because there would be no ability to vote on whether it should be legal or not. Democracy allows a vote on anything and if your not in the majority you just out of luck.

The economy would shoot through the roof if we truly had a free market. I have three businesses I would start tomorrow if not for the democracy either regulating the profit out of them or making them illegal all together when they harm no one nor violate anyone's rights.

And thanks for the congrats, it's up to 80 pounds now but I am too lazy to update my sig LOL!

“One of the penalties for refusing to participate in politics is that you end up being governed by your inferiors.” Plato

Those were Jack Herer's words not mine

It is because he doesn't understand Austrian Economics in regards to self-regulation. This is why the two movements are so compatible and we need to see some integration between the two
