Jon Stewart vs. Bill O'Reilly on Ron Paul

I watched the unedited interview of Jon Stewart vs. Bill O'Reilly and they mentioned Ron Paul, well at least Jon Stewart did, O'Reilly pretended to not know who he was talking about and would not even say RP. I did not think much of it but when Ron mentioned Jon Stewart today on the mises circle video I thought it was an interesting coincidence.

Jon Stewart: And why did Fox news not treat Ron Paul better when he's been talking about this stuff for the past 8 years, ten years.

O'Reilly: Look we can't promote mounds and almond joy, you talking about peter paul? peter paul and mary? who's Ron. (Disgusted?) (Under Breath) Ron Paul...

I don't post often hope someone finds this interesting. Also I enjoyed the whole interview and think it is well worth the watch.

that's a lot of video and a lot of asshole(s) to watch just to hear one ask "why did you treat Ron Paul like crap?" and the other to ignore the question/not answer/laugh.... the whole exchange lasted maybe 4 seconds...

There must have been strict orders given out that any mention of Ron Paul is to be ignored or just start laughing. Everyone does it.

I had tried to watch it on the fox website but it only played half and then the player restarted and could not forward the video.

Wow, I was aware of Bill O, but I didn't realize how limited John Stewart is. He's an advocate of fascism straight up! Hard to sit through.

It was difficult to figure out what O'Reilly meant by his comment, but I believe it was his way of saying Ron Paul is "nuts" - Almond Joy and Mounds... you know the song: "Sometimes you feel like a nut...."?

This doesn't surprise me. I watched the interview on the Factor and you could tell it was highly edited. Of course they were going to take out any mention of Ron Paul.
