PeaceBlimp.com under attack by neo-cons
Submitted by LibertyPulse.com on Sat, 02/06/2010 - 12:59in
On it’s second day up on the web a post to the HotAir.com headlines section has brought over 8,000 pro-war supports to the site in under five hours. They’ve been spamming the suggestion links beyond usability.
If the anti-war movement will show such passion the war will be over in no time. Will they?
They are attacking the site again Progressives in Red are on the prowl...

to defend from a neocon
to defend from a neocon attack, go to the website and click on the questions it asks: "were should the blimp go?, who should ride the blimp?" etc. Sign up, it's free and easy and then use your votes for pro-liberty choices. I think Ron Paul is in a close first place right now and Adam Kokesh is not far behind.
Given the mood of the country....
Given the tea party mood of the country, an "attack by neocons" might just as well backfire for them and turn out to be very powerful endorsement.

"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd
This may be a good tactic.
No doubt Trevor has the web savvy to filter the wave of hate comments. But I don't see a lot of counter arguments offered; so it's worth considering that this centrally-focused giant project may be premature. It's a big easy target for warmongers who obviously love shooting at peace projects.
The power of the Ron Paul r3VOLution was that it was so widespread and not centrally organized,it unleashed the creativity of free minds. I was just reminded of this as I watched "For Liberty" again. The blimp and airplanes with banners etc. weren't the main event, just supporting elements in widespread grassroots activism.
Maybe at the outset of an antiwar coalition we need more time to educated Leftists, Independents, Tea Partiers and grow the movement and develop strategies together.
If the PeaceBlimp project continues I'll certainly support it but I'm hoping to see a lot of local efforts and diverse approaches.
