If you had to who would you vote for on the dem side

I took a blind issue test at Washington post and came our Paul, Richardson... They only had "major" candidates, but they included Paul, guess they think he is major or just didn't want emails.

Why is this question even being posed??

As far as I'm concerned it's a moot point as I am voting for Ron Paul. Who cares about the Dems?

I have never voted for a

I have never voted for a democrat. Ever. That streak will continue.

There's somethin' happenin' here...

None

I would not vote for any Dem or the rest of the Repubs. Just like in the last Prez. Election. I did not wanted Bush, I didnt like John K. so I stay home and did not send any contributions to RNC or Bush.

I figure that if the country goes to the left people will wake up sooner than later. The same with Republicans. If the country goes to right and more totalitarian, the people will wake up sooner than later. Remember that Goverment alway uses time and deception to get its way. The more time it passes the less we recognized what they are doing. So vote for the candidate that speaks for you always. If that candidate doesnt win, then let it be. Just think at where the Republican party is at this moment. We are rethinking and readjusting. The truth of the matter is that Prez Bush has been so bad that he is the one forcing us to see the truth. The same will happen if the nation elects a bad Dem Prez. Can you imagine a Hugo Chavez in America? That will wake us up sooner than later. And I mean both Dems and Repubs.

I'd write in Ron Paul. I

I'd write in Ron Paul.

I could never vote for a Democrat, interventionalist...all of them.

Gravel helped me go with Ron Paul...

Mike Gravel made it painfully clear that the democrats were being pussies. He explained what they could be doing to change things...

I think Mike Gravel would be great in the Senate busting balls...

Why

Why ask who we'd vote for if we 'had' to vote Democrat? We know Dr. Paul's going to win. Is there even another candidate from either party that comes close to his voting record? Is there another candidate that will be OUR President?

Ron Paul or None

Freedom is not FREE!!

Freedom is not FREE!!

cant vote dem,

I would vote third part and for anyone else, but not Dem,,, sorry
Ron Paul or third party, simple!

The Immorality of Socialism

In the wold of the socialist the only person with nothing to fear is the person with nothing to offer.

Those with talent, brains, desire, and a particularly uncanny ability to get the job done have the MOST to fear, as the fruits of their labor will be plucked away by the guilt ridden - hell bent on overcoming their own moral weakness by offering up to the meek the fruits of the strong.

Vice becomes virtue - laziness, incompetence, recklessness becomes a badge of honor lifted up as heroic

Virtue becomes vice - inventiveness, curiosity, clarity of purpose becomes greed, selfishness, and arrogance

Socialism is hostile to liberty.

It is unfortunate that so Americans have adopted this foolish dogma. This thread is evidence that some people do not understand the purpose of Dr. Paul's campaign.

Dr. Paul entered the campaign to be elected President as a secondary objective.

His primary objective was to introduce to young Americans the message of liberty. As he has said many times, what the young people think about the way government should work will be the government they eventually have. In other words, if the young people learn and understand the principles of liberty and free markets, they will eventually vote for more and more of that, essentially creating the country they wish to see.

What is more important? To have 4 years of Dr. Paul? Or to have an entire generation raised on the message of liberty, free markets, and limited government?

Judging by the high number of socialists I've come across on this forum, or socialist-lites (as they like to call themselves when they are only feeling half-guilty), Dr. Paul is absolutely right about what the campaign priorities should be.

No Democrats for me.
No Republicans for me.
I vote for Liberty
I vote for Dr. Paul, or I vote Libertarian

I'll play...

The only democratic presidential candidate I would consider voting for is Dennis Kucinich. Bill Richardson is in favor of a National I.D. as part of his immigration plan (a deal breaker for me) and Mike Gravel keeps talking about a world goverment. The rest of the candidates won't get us out of the Iraq war, at least not any time soon.

Its amazing to me that

Its amazing to me that people are supporting someone like Paul, but quickly would actually vote for a socialist candidate, complete contrary to everything Paul stands for. That is mind boggling to me.

The original question was

The original question was "if you had to who would you vote for on the dem side". Not who do you want to or who would you support. If I HAD to vote for a democrat, I'd pick the lessest of evils. Doesn't mean I'd like it ;)

Paul is the only candidate worth voting FOR. I think everyone here agrees on that. Worst case scenario, I'll write him in. So will probably a lot of people. Doesn't mean we can't play the hypothetical game :)

As a republican I would vote for Hillary

Funny thing is that I was actually thinking about this before I discover Dr. Paul. I figure I was going to vote for the most socialist and most big governemnt democrat I could find. Thats the only way to force change. Just as Bush is forcing the Rebublicans to rethink about our party, so will someone like Al Sharpton will force the Democrats to rethink. their party. Some people think Im crazy, but the truth of the matter is that I lived in San Francisco 10 years of my life and Im still alive. The sooner we test a crazy Philosophy the sooner we will put it in the dust bin of history. The longer we test a lesser of both evil idea the more we get use to it and the more difficult it is to toss it in the trash.

I don't "have" to vote for

I don't "have" to vote for anyone and I certainly would never vote for anyone 180º of my ideology. Not sure how anyone could switch that easily, even in a hypothetical situation. That's like saying since Alan Keys isn't going to win I'm voting for Hilary Clinton. Not even in the same boat.

Also, I think this hypothetical game gives some merits to what the other candidates stand for, which is socialism.

I did posted earlier I would vote for none

But since the question was reintroduce on the stance who would you vote for. I pick the worst. The truth is that Ive done it before. I have several family members in California who are democrats. They wouldnt listen to any republican, so on the thinks that did not affected me a voted for what they wanted. Now they are turning around because their wallets are being affected. As far as not voting I think that is the best option, I did not bother to show up to vote for Bush for his second term. It is the most comfortable thing to do. But if I had to vote for a democrat as the question asks. I will vote for evil itself and not for the worst of both evil. The worst of both evil is still evil. Or we can call it evil by stealth.

I could not vote

If Ron Paul is not in the picture, I cannot vote for the lessor of two evils. And any candidate that wants to continue the war in Iraq, and possibly Iran, plus pre-emptive strikes, unconstitutional infringements upon our rights, national ID card, etc; I would prefer to set home as I have since Ronald Reagans first run for the presidency. Ron Paul is the ONLY reason I decided to vote this year.

Kucinich

The fact Kucinich introduced articles of Impeachment against Cheney earned my respect. I don't like his domestic social policies but I believe he is an honest and patriotic man. We agree on the ending the war.

I also like Gravel. He shoots from the hips and pulls no punches.

The fact that there are only 3 candidates from both parties who are true patriots should wake some people up. We have been overthrown in the most subtle way. The CFR has had it's run. Now we are taking it back! Ron Paul is still the answer!

Don't forget to VOTE OUT all Congressional incumbents who have let us down. We need to shake the establishment to it's core!

I vote present

The beautiful thing is that no one is forced to vote, as many millions demonstrate each election when they believe they are faced with a choice as unpalatable as this.

We are Doomed no matter what.

But if I had to vote, I would vote for Obama.

On the dem side: Biden

On the dem side: Biden

Take this straw poll at WTAM...

http://www.wtam.com/pages/strawpoll/

You can vote for one Dem and one Rep.
Ron Paul is winning on the Republican side and Dennis Kucinich on the democrat side.

Obama

I was really psyched about him at first, and he's done nothing but disappoint me (and Ron Paul came around) but of the Democrats, he'd be most likely to get my vote. I like Kucinich, and hope he and RP get together to form some kind of coalition, but I try to avoid candidates that say they've spoken to god or aliens.

Yay!

It's amazing to me how many Ron Paul supporters are former Barack Obama supporters. Welcome abroad!

Barack supporters jump ship

once they realize that he hasnt really said a lot of what hes going to do ..he just wants "change' whatever that means.

Bill Richardson

He talks a lot about cutting government bureaucracy and fiscal responsibility. Has lots of experience and a great personality.

Screw the Dems, Repubs, and all others. No more labels.

I vote Freedom. Who's pushing that issue? That's what I vote for. I don't care what party it is....if you want Freedom.....I want to vote for you. Right now it's, of course, Ron Paul. What Dem would you vote for? Ridiculous.
