I just heard on CNN that John Murtha died from complications from a gallbladder surgery.

Who do you think has a shot at his seat?

There are two republicans in the primary. One is William Russell, an ex military guy, is not quite a neocon, but close. There is another candidate, Tim Burns. I don't know much about him, though he seems pretty generic republican.

McCain won the District last time, but Kerry before him. the Democratic candidate whoever that is will probably have the inside track - we need a Ron Paul democrat

I don't know who has a shot, but I certainly appreciated the link to retakecongress--I just sent it to Peg Luksik's (PA Liberty-minded candidate) online site, hoping she'll join, thus getting more exposure!
