US conservative darling Sarah Palin says she thinks President Barack Obama should declare war on Iran.
The one-time Republican vice presidential candidate said in an interview with Fox News that Obama should play the war card if he wants to get re-elected in 2012.
"Say he decided to declare war on Iran or decided really to come out and do whatever he could to support Israel, which I would like him to do," she said on Sunday.

I am calling for a Citizen arrest of this woman!
I don't care that she endorsed Rand Paul for Senate.
A call for war is an evil act and must be faced head on by peace loving patriot community!

Look, I wrote this elsewhere to correct you. It was NOT this post she was referring to. I saw her Blog yesterday on FDL and she linked to a different post on DP..not this one.
I know you are upset..but is it any news to anyone that Palin is a warmongering neocon? Better to start with a call to arrest Bush, Cheney, Rumsfield, Obama or Pelosi. Palin is just a 'media personality' with lint for brains. Don't give her any credit with this headline of yours.

Umm, I understand the sentiment...
... but good luck with that call. There are very few ways to make a legal citizen's arrest, and this isn't one of them. I wish people would think before acting on emotional impulse.
Palin is a private citizen
who has the right to free speech. She has commit no crime. If she can be arrested for her beliefs, so can anyone else. What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
Since she is calling for war, the deaths of many people...
Why is it that political shills can call for war, but if a citizen were to do this, they would be evaluated by doctors, and possibly locked up as not being safe for society...
If she wants to go to war so bad, send her instead of wasting our troops on a war which could be avoided.

respect your activism; this may be the first time I ever disagreed with you. I truly feel your rage and revulsion that this woman has such influence among Republicans and taints Liberty candidates with her endorsements.
But if we are at the point of making citizens' arrests, surely it makes sense to start at the top of the war chain of command. That means Bush and Obama, and work out way down the chain. There are so many before we'd get to a mere power-luster like Palin.
Does our history of free speech include war mongering speeches? I think so, and that the audience should boo such vile folk off any stage they dare show their arrogant, evil faces on. It is our culture that must embrace peace to stop these NeoCons. they are impotent if the people say NO. Going around arresting people that speak evil things would be embracing the militaristic tactics of the enemies of freedom.
