Eric King has done so many great interviews that I'm still working my way through his archives. Here is his very first interview as King World News, with Harry Markopolos - the man who spent nearly a decade trying to blow the whistle on Bernie Madoff to the SEC. Here is a Boston Globe article on Markopolis.
If you ever had any doubt about the extent of government corruption, this interview will put it to rest. This is an incredible interview:

Hi
What is interesting to me about this interview is that this guy sounds like your average joe voter, he clearly hasn't heard about Ron Paul or the end the fed arguments, and yet he still places the people at the fed as the #1 most incompetent/corrupt people.
It sounds like he generally trusts the government regulators and isn't really opposed to regulation in theory, and even believes that the SEC is reforming. Yet even he is shocked at how blatantly corrupt the federal reserve's actions have been over the past several years.
This article is a year old
Markopolos should be named the head of the SEC.
There is a lot of good stuff in the archives
It is well worth the listen.
Since the government was
Since the government was supposed to be regulating Madoff, his investors didn't do enough due diligence.
If there had been NO government regulation of Madoff, individuals would have done their due diligence and most likely would not have put their funds with Madoff.
Government regulation isn't a security blanket, as much as it has become a means for theft by the elite.
With or without government regulation and oversight, people need to be responsible and do their own homework.

it's like good music hearing this message: it never gets old (however I look forward greatly to the day when it is old news, i.e. no more fed. no more central bank in the U.S.A.).
