She needs to be sharp for these upcoming interviews.
Either they will first be courteous and probe for weaknesses or they will function as attack dogs and come out swinging from the outset. Medina knows the game: to make her appear weak or inept on camera.

They are losing support fast from the Original Tea Partiers
We are the heart and soul of the movement the neocons are in the processes of hijacking. They only threw support behind Rand when they saw he was likely going to win on his own anyway.
