Update: From DP user Liberty_Belle on this comment: The Revolution Continues...We Will Not Be Tea-O-Conned!!

and

From DP user maximus1215 on this comment. I quote:

The TEA-O-CONS, Neo cons who co-opted Ron's Tea Party

Submitted by maximus1215 on Wed, 02/10/2010 - 21:22.

We should make this term part of the American political lexicon...

TEA-O-CON

Repeat it often, and listen for it, as it will indeed work its way into the American political lexicon.

Thank you maximus.

Ha! Ha! These are great!

teaocon:

A former/current Bush/McCain-style neoconservative that has infiltrated the liberty movement that was founded by Ron Paul supporters in 2007.

A teocon is a confused or generally hypocritical individual that ostensibly demands less taxation and government but still demands that the military industrial complex intervene in world affairs at taxpayer expense.
That teaocon Sarah Palin thinks Obama should bomb Iran, doesn't she know that war IS a "big government" program?

"I think we are living in a world of lies: lies that don't even know they are lies, because they are the children and grandchildren of lies." ~ Chris Floyd

Use it on all the major social media and networking sites.

Make sure to use it on Facebook, Twitter, and all the other sites where it will get picked up and spread. Twitter is a good one to focus on - how great would it be to get tea-o-con on the front page!

It's really sad when you think about it

TEOCONS (tea-oh-cons)
50.1% Teaparty
49.9% NEOCON
- "Don't Push It!"

TEOCONS: 1) The "New" Tea Party Conservatives.
*-Formally known as the Neo-Conservatives

Alright tea-o-cons it is, BUT, in the meantime do something

that is powerfully meaningful than just name calling; Please pledge yourself to restore the Constitution through the Articles of Freedom. This is real justice!

I beseech each and everyone of you. In my opinion that would be doing something 'sound' while battling with their infiltration.

Remember, they want everyone distracted and in a frenzy while they hang and quarter our Rule of Law. Think. What is the goal here?

Search Google every day for the phrase "Tea-o-con"

Lets see if it can become a Google "top search"

Nice!

I'm gonna use this one wherever I go.

Ok, if neo-cons who have

Ok, if neo-cons who have invaded the tea parties are now Teo-O-Cons, then the 9/12 groups are now hereby the 9/12 truthers.

Have you heard about the 9/12 Truthers? They actually believe the Republican party believes in constitutional limited government. Those people are CRAZY!

I am pulling my membership from the 9/12 group. Screw Glenn Beck. I will only work through the Campaign for Liberty, whom I trust. And by the way, I believe 9/11 was from government ineptness and blowback. But what Glenn did today was the nail in his coffin.

Good call.

I didn't trust the 9/12 thing from the very beginning. It emerged on the heels of the Campaign for Liberty and immediately was trying to intertwine itself with it. The whole Glenn Beck movement is a scam as well. I truly believe he is nothing but a phony, paid opposition if you will. I know many try to give him the benefit of the doubt because he says a few good things here and there, but ultimately he has been one of the catalysts to derail true liberty efforts by corralling the fed-up GOP base back into the pen with empty rhetoric and clever marketing. They are trying to hijack the tea party movement as well and have people blindly following the new establishment version of a "revolution" which is, ultimately, to bring the same neocons back into power after Obama. They use plenty of liberty terms to accomplish this, hoodwinking people into thinking they are fighting for freedom when they are doing nothing more than working towards flipping the coin from "Democrat" back to "Republican". Their goal is to install another Bush once Obama is out, plain and simple. Nothing new, nothing revolutionary, but many people sadly are falling for it again, hook, line, and sinker.

rather than retreat

from the 9-12 project, we should be there in his face.

I love it!

I am going to pitch my visual again, with this slogan:
Sarah Palin and the big jug of Koolaid that is the product icon - and she has her lipstick out writing "TEA" on it.

Truth exists, and it deserves to be cherished.

We need to start having our

We need to start having our own tea parties again. When the teocons start showing up, we need to be right in the middle, showing them up for the phoneys they are.

Nice, best post of the day

Tea-o-cons are nothing but tea-stained neo-cons

I love this new twist on this well-defined political position.

Neo-cons sought to know Ron Pauls' fund-raising secret during his Presidential race. They desperately begged to know how he attracted so much grassroots support.

But Dr. Pauls' "Liberty is popular" prescription was too tough for them to swallow.

Tea party demonstrations were the closest they could come to imitating Dr. Pauls' campaign, while co-opting the message to make it their own. Tea-o-cons are just neo-cons with a tea-stained veneer.

For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it. - Patrick Henry

TEA-O-CON

Sounds catchy.....But....

Are we trying to educate, or just lash out?

Why don't we just call them MOR-O-ONS? (sarcasm)

I liked the "Wake up and smell the coffee" approach that was suggested. " The Coffee Campaign"

You can't educate someone by insulting them, even though the name TEA-O-CONS is absolutely spot on.

Why NOT lash out?

Our cause is just. We are engaged in an ideological fight against the neocons, the "bloodthirsty armchair non-combatants."

I had to go through a process of humiliation when I realized I was a neocon. No one spared me. In fact, there's nothing we can say to spare someone else the remorse they will feel when they realize (finally) that it's wrong to be happy about the serial killing of innocent people abroad.

Sometimes negative terms are accurate and helpful for defining what's going on in life. "Warmonger" is a useful term, because warmongers exist. "Neocons" is likewise useful. And "tea-o-cons" explains a real political phenomenon in a very succinct way. So I like and defend the phrase.

Just received an email saying my submission of Tea-o-con was accepted for publication and should be available on the site within a couple of days!

:)

My submitted definition: Fake libertarians trying to take over the tea party movement who are, in reality, nothing more than pissed-off neo-con libertarian wannabes.

How many lumps do they want?

Those "teocons"?

I have an endless supply of them.

I need to take my bow out and release some of this stress

Shootin the bow and smokin a bowl always puts me in the right mood.

Perm: Bow and Bowl -- "L" for "Liberty"

:-)

Bow - Bowl - Bow-L

Sorry all this Tea-O-Con catchiness has me doing word associations.

Of course Meditation, Conscious-Sleep, and Tension Mastery would be far better practices, smile.

I've been teaching the latter for nearly 20 years.

Back when I put down the "bowl" and focused on that "L" for Liberty.

Regardless Drugs need to be Legalized and Un-regulated.
