From where did Glenn Beck get the info that Medina was possibly a 9/11 truther?

It was a loaded question! This was a gotcha interview from the start. Beck had no inside info on this topic, but he does know she has strong support from A Jones and his followers. She really only had 3 possible answers:

1. Strongly denounce 9/11 truthers – which may have turned off some of her supporters
2. Align with the movement – in which Glenn probably would have hung up about 30 seconds quicker than he did anyway
3. Or say “That’s the first time I’ve heard that accusation… and I have not taken a position” which apparently means she can be labeled a Truther even though she clearly never stated that position.

Glenn focused in on state politics for a segment on radio to interview the so called tea party candidate from Texas. But the interview took a turn for the worse when Debra Medina dropped the instant loss of endorsement bomb that she was a 9/11 truther. Not good.

At what point can someone be sued for this blatant slander?

Why did they think she was a Truther? Uh, she's a Ron Pauler.

Medina did nothing to convince me she's not a Truther and guess what? I'm glad to hear it. She could have just said "No. It's all just as the government says." But she didn't, which means she didn't want to lie and I respect her for that.

9/11 was the lie that was the basis of the Neocon power and they're still using it. Once 9/11 is exposed we'll have an far easier time with the limited government agenda.

I hope the Medina campaign are ready for this because this will get ugly. If the Republican party establishment can't elect their own candidate in Texas they are in big trouble.

The three main focal points of Ron Paul -- It's fine if we have other focal points or in my case "supporting - street level focal points" (Counster-Economics); but to mix in things RP does not endorse puts his name and anyone he endorses in jeopardy.

Once I came on board to support Ron Paul I put down my 911-"Truth" campaign; that was Jan-ish 2007.

Beck just made it up. "Is it true you've stopped beating your wife?"

He'd have never asked the other candidates. It was purely to marginalize.

other news source gets theirs, the "rumor mill". Investigative journalism, unfortunately for all of us, no longer exists.

It doesn't matter where he got it. That's not the point. Like all charlatans Beck speaks the sound of freedom but his actions support the power structure. Think Ailes would have it any other way?

Someone posted a link somewhere, can't seem to find it.

Was to a TX newspaper, or blog, that outed a Perry Mole posting things like that about Medina, posing as a Medina supporter.

That's the only mention I can find. Glenn said his emails were flooded with this question and that's where he got it.

Looking worse and worse for Glenn to me.

They can't come up with real news....so let make it up.

read between the lines... this was a direct slam against Ron Paul... his question "Do you associate with anyone who is a 911 truther" was directed to her association with RP...

We need to get Jesse Ventura to go down to TX and send a message back to Beck... or maybe Chuck Norris... wonder where he stands? Beck needs a good ass kickin'

I liked Glenn Beck, entertaining, and shining light on things that need to be seen. But after his performance today, I will never watch him again. He set the liberty movement back by pulling his stunt.
We should get a sponsors thread going, he should learn from his mistakes. I hope the honest patriots of this country sees what he just did, and boycott him with considerable ratings decrease.

I suspect Rick Perry Supporters, some of whom are convinced all Libertarians and Ron Paul supporters are 9/11 truthers... Beck did mention he received e-mails for and against having Medina on his show... it was probably an unfounded accusation from one of the opposed e-mails.
