So Debra Medina spoke with Glenn Beck this morning on his radio talk show. Glenn saw fit to smear her with the claim that she is a 9/11 Truther. This is particularly interesting considering that the key issues of the race for the Governor’s Seat have been private property rights and state sovereignty. Having come from 4% in the polls all the way to 24% most recently from the PPP poll, Medina is now perceived as a threat to the establishment.
What better way to distract voters from valid issues like burdensome taxes or oppressive government policies? Instead of conversing with Debra on a meaningful level, Beck decided it was more worthwhile to write her off as a conspiracy theorist. This is even more odd when you consider that only 16% of people in America now believe the official government explanation of the September 11th 2001 terror attacks!

You might want to show your contempt with a photo of your ceremoniously disposing of Becks' books. I can think of a lot of great photos to suggest.
These photos shouldn't involve book burning, or occultic stuff, but should make it obvious that it will never be read again. Something like using dog crap for a book marker, squished into pages. You know what one good pictures worth, lol.

Overall I think this was one of the best interviews that the MSM has done with Ron Paul. I still think that Glenn Beck is a total worm who kisses ass one moment, and then spouts off the next. Had Glenn Beck retracted what he said last month and would have done what Bill Maher did and say "Y'know I was wrong about you and now I've seen the light".. Instead he acted like he and Ron Paul were Batman and Robin which is annoying.
Beck is over the top and he plays things up wayy to much, for example the "threatening of his life"? C'mon I mean that was over played drama, and the other thing is...
Why does the MSM always have to say 9/11 Truthers are "dangerous" and "crazy"... This annoys me because there is enough loopholes and things that don't add up that there is NOTHING WRONG with questioning things, people like Beck make it sound like "Elvis is still alive wearing a tinfoil hat"... and nothing could be further from the truth. What is wrong with asking questions with things that don't add up?
I'm, sure that some 9/11 people will feel betrayed by Dr Paul's answers, but the truth is Ron Paul is not one to speculate about things and to do such a thing would be political suicide, so I believe he handled these questions honestly and truthfully., I mean remote control plans into the towers? Who in the hell believes that???? I suggest he read a little David Ray Griffin.....
The other thing was the "i'd french kiss you on the IRS issue"... THAT was just over the top fluff for his quest...
In the end this was a great interview and while I feel Beck is a worm, I do give him respect in the sense he never cut RP off and most importantly that interview probably converted many many many many people who otherwise would never actually listen to Ron Paul or his message...

If we want to be really efficient...
Everybody can make 20 Digg accounts. They take very little time to create. Save a notepad doc with all the usernames and passwords. Then its just cntrl c, cntrol v, mouse click to digg, logout. repeat and easily get 1000+ diggs on important topics.

Here's the way you defuse the situation....
....if you are going to go on Glenn Beck's program:
Glenn: "Do you believe the government was any way involved with the bringing down of the World Trade Centers on 9/11?"
Medina: "I believe those towers were brought down by planes being flown into them. There may be questions as to who knew what when and whether all the dots were connected, but there is no denying what we all saw on TV that morning of 9/11." (Or something to this effect)
Period. Defused. Move onto substantive issues.
Glenn Beck has been the most friendly and open person in the "mainstream media" to libertarians. He is much closer to the ideas of liberty than he was 2, 3, 4 years ago. That being said, he gets wound up about certain things. 9/11 truthers are one of those things. He thinks 9/11 truthers are completely nuts with no credibility whatsoever. If you are going to go on his program to try to discuss your candidacy, that is not the forum to discuss 9/11 conspiracy theories.
I honestly don't think it matters a hill of beans what Debra Medina thinks about 9/11. It is not an issue that matters to me one bit, and does not effect my view of the state as an oppressive organization of thugs. Frankly, I think the whole 9/11 truth thing is a big distraction and I would rather spend time on issues that will persuade others to the ideas of liberty and freedom.
Many people will look at this and just think "crazy," and that is why Medina made a big mistake by answering that question the way she did.

What matters most are the ideas in our heads. Now regarding this 9/11 issue, I must say I have seen far too many of "9/11 truthers" being prone to conspiracy ideas based on their half baked analysis. While I applaud their somewhat thorough analysis of various holes in official explanation of 9/11 attacks, I feel that the "truthers" ( including yours truly up until recently) have totally overlooked one important angle in 9/11 stories. And that is.... is it possible that the official stories are so full of holes because they were trying to cover up their sorry behinds inorder to mask their gross criminal negligence ? 3000 of our fellow citizens were murdered by some crazy retards who were motivated by the prospect of enjoying 72 prostitutes in Allah's w***house.And the Gubbamint agencies that were responsible to protect us failed terribly. And no one was fired. Could it be that everyone (starting from our commander-in-chief) should have been fired for their gross incompetence ? These are indeed some Valid questions.
And I think Debra should put out these open questions to Glen "the idiot" Beck in her next press release.

More liberal readers at Huffington Post are voicing their support for her remarks! This is NOT a right wing /left wing issue, yet it's picking up more supporters.
If this is an important issue to a voter, this will garner support. If this is not an important issue, then the other issues she supports will continue to garner support. Her appeal is she holds values that Texas voters see as positive. In the end, it's only TEXAS that matters.
