My favorite comment by a financial wizard.

"So while the GOPers get to teabag the libruls, he’ll be helping poor people stay alive. Gee, who’s more responsible here?"

Hahaha. What percent of the money get into the hands of people that need it.

The bank that issues the Food cards make 100% profit. The store get reimbursed 100% for the food they give away. And the poor family gets a box of $1.20 box of Mac and cheese which cost the his dad over $2.40 in taxes.

He could cut out the government tax feeders and buy 2 boxes (or more) of Mac and cheese and drop them off at a church or community food bank. Without supporting the crony capitalism he abhors.

It's a decent article, considering the

source, and of course it's written in their signature snarky style.
But the comments under the article show they don't write for a thinking crowd. The followers just are just in it for the snarky quotient, wannabe cool kids.

Geez....

I got all excited by your post title. Nothing to see but a bunch of monkeys flingin' poo...

after all the talk here

of the beck/palin/gop hijack of the tea party, isn't it comforting to know even people as simple as wonkettes see right through it?
