Taxpayer Funded Drilling For Oil Offshore of Brazil For China?

I got this email and I also remember a Yahoo story regarding the largest oil reserve find ever between South America and Africa (I haven't been able to find the article since then).I've also been reading on the Daily Paul complaints regarding large amounts of taxpayer and bailout money being invested in Brazil. Can anyone shed any light or their take regarding this subject?

My email:

Today on a segment of the "Glen Beck Show" on FOX (Fox Cable News) was the following:

"Today, even though President Obama is against off shore drilling for our country, he signed an executive order to loan 2 Billion of our taxpayers dollars to a Brazilian Oil Exploration Company (which is the 8th largest company in the entire world) to drill for oil off the coast of Brazil! The oil that comes from this operation is for the sole purpose and use of China and NOT THE USA! Now here's the real clincher ...the Chinese government is under contract to purchase all the oil that this oil field will produce, which is hundreds of millions of barrels of oil".

We have absolutely no gain from this transaction whatsoever!

Wait, it gets more interesting.

Guess who is the largest individual stockholder of this Brazilian Oil Company and who would benefit most from this? It is American BILLIONAIRE, George Soros, who was one of President Obama's most generous financial supporter during his campaign.

If you are able to connect the dots and follow the money, you are probably as upset as I am. Not a word of this transaction was broadcast on any of the other news networks!

Forward this factual e-mail to others who care about this country and where it is going. Also, let all of your Government representatives know how you feel about this.

You've Been Here Over 2 Years...why didn't you unite with the people that were trying to expose Obama's eligibility and still trying to do so?

(and yes I looked at your ENTIRE history 19 or so pages at a glance and didn't see anywhere where you even put in 2 cents on the Obama eligibility issue...so much for defending the Constitution freedom-fighters)

I just used you as an example,really...it was for EVERYONE that failed to get 100 percent behind exposing the Obama issue.
And now because most were either too lazy to do the homework or didn't have enough fortitude to step up because they thought if would reflect badly on Ron Paul or were afraid of being accused of being racist I say to you suck it up and start working to get this imposter out of office NOW before he does much more damage...

I understand your frustration

It IS maddening to know so much has/is going on in front of all of our noses. And....the more you shout, the more crazy everyone thinks you are. But you won't invite participation with self righteous attacks.

*Side Note*
I am a "Little Girl" who has been "involved" for longer than 2 years. I actually voted for Ron Paul in 1988. I did manage to raise 3 children who vote Ron Paul and anyone that is pro Constitution.

unless China graciously allows it to be so. That's my guess. China bought up the drilling rights in Iraq, now it wants Brazil, and we are in debt to China...so this is how they want to be paid back.

There was a flurry of talk about this back in October, with articles like this:

But it still doesn't allow the U.S. to explore in Alaska or along the East and West Coasts, which could be our equivalent of the Tupi oil fields, which are set to make Brazil a leading oil exporter.

Where did they come up with THAT?

According to what I've been reading, the oil field they are trying to reach off the coast of Brazil is reportedly much larger than anything we can hope to have in or around the United States, though official estimates are still forthcoming.

I'm just wondering what the point of this propaganda is...train the rats to call their senators begging for the EPA to get off drilling companies' backs? I don't know.
