Many Ron Paul Delegates Not Currently Involved in a Meetup
Submitted by think.rink on Mon, 12/10/2007 - 12:42I just wanted to share something that is GOOD NEWS concerning the real support Ron Paul has on the ground. We are in the process of getting the signatures from over 50 delegates in Central Ohio. We are finding that over half of these people are not currently Meetup members. We have a Meetup group with over 450 members, with many active members.
Why is this good news? Because these delegates have been actively involved in previous Republican primaries, and are genuine Ron Paul supporters. I believe this means that, nationwide, there are many, many Ron Paul supporters out there that we don't even know exist.
Obviously, we want to get everyone involved in the grassroots movement as soon as we possibly can, and we need to find more of these people in the coming weeks and months through DOOR-TO-DOOR CANVASSING. But to know think that there are many thousands of people who WILL vote for Ron Paul in the primaries that aren't among the over 80,000 meetup members is fantastic news. We are not just the internet!
