If you pay to get FOX you are! He reportedly makes $23,000,000 a year and it comes (willingly) out of your pocket. TV is a propaganda machine being used against you. And you fund them. You fool!

I unplugged around 5 years ago and I feel healthier, happier, and I have more free time and money. And best of all, I got back the ability to form my own opinions.
Has anyone else unplugged? Would you recommend it? Don't just complain about their lies, people. Hit them where it hurts - their pocketbooks!

I've never had cable. We don't even get a clear broadcast TV signal and don't ever watch TV. We do have a TV but only to watch dvd movies. I see enough programming through the internet to know we are not missing out on anything except brainwashing. My kids have never watched regular TV and have no comprehension what a TV show or a commercial is.
I do not know how other people have time to keep up with TV shows. There is so much to do just to keep up with family responsibilities and housework.
It has been 8 yrs for me
and the new digital air can be monitored for content viewed.

I called for pulling the plug in December. The kids said they'd try and get used to it. The wife begs me not to and even goes so far as to offer to pay the cable bill herself, which she is now doing. I may have to go old school on her after reading Beck's salary to be a Neo Conservative Gate Keeper.
I dumped my AT&T cellphones
when they allowed the Government to wiretap illegally, my wife's Verizon accounts were closed for the same reason.
I dropped cable when the media trashed the most honorable man running for President, Ron Paul.
I cut up my credit cards and closed my bank accounts after the bailout.
Why complain if you continue to remain in the corrupt 'system'?
Not only are you allowing them to track you and your money, they bombard you with propaganda, ... and you're funding their 'system' with you're hard earned money.
A sweet deal for them, but I'm not participating any longer, and sleep very peaceful too.
There are a lot of good reasons to get rid of TV...
but hurting Glenn Beck and Fox TV is not one of them.
SELECTIVE boycotts, such as the one I posed "Texans Against Glenn Beck," can be very effective. However, most of you at the DAILY PAUL totally ignored my video, "Glenn Beck Roasts Debra Medina. Now It is Our Turn."
All of you complaining about Beck and supporting Medina should get behind this, unless you are "sunshine patriots."

Besides not knowing what your "enemy" is doing, you throw out Judge Andrew Napolitano along with Beck by canceling FNC.

without funding FOX, CNN etc. (not that they tell you the truth anyway). Many well informed people here don't watch (or fund) TV. The Judge can have other channels to speak out his views, it wouldn't be the end of him. I'm not saying it's the only way to get Beck either. But I think the propaganda machines should not be funded by those in the liberty movement. MSM is our enemy.
