I wrote a letter to get involved in my County DEM party, SEE THIS!

I wrote: How do I get involved in the party in Gaffney?

This is the reply I get from Dr. T. Olin Huffman [huffmanto@att.net] he is the DEM chairman of Cherokee County:

Dear Mr. Frank:

Based upon 2008 predsidential primary and 2008 general
primary election voting records, it is apparent that you may
have a primary interest in participation in the Cherokee
County Republican Party.

The current chairman of the Cherokee County Republican
Party is Mr. Steve Blanton.

That's weird

I was a registered democrat (but not active with the party or even a consistent voter) for 28 years when I re-registered with the republican party in 2007, and no one's ever questioned it. Maybe the republicans are desperate but the democrats think they don't need anyone new to join their party?

Quite telling that he doesn't view someone wanting to join the Democratic party from a Republican background as someone who has "seen the light".

Apparently people only become disillusioned with the Democratic party.
