www.GOOOH.com --> good or bad for liberty?

Question to fellow DailyPaulers... do you see the GOOOH (Get Out Of Our House) movement at www.goooh.com as a positive or negative?

Should we be involved?

Should fellow Liberty minded people care?

Control the group.

It is often easier to take over a group than it is to start a new one.

Of course, I think we should take over AARP or AAA, and change their big-government lobbying to something better.

The only thing I worry about

The only thing I worry about is that GOOOH is deemed worthwhile by neocon sheeple I have come across(including paid GOP operatives). That always makes me wary.

Very much about liberty

I like GOOOH because, unlike party politics, the process utilizes "individual platforms" rather than any party platform. It's very much about liberty and choice at the local level.

It brings opportunity right back to the people where it belongs. GOOOH gives constituents in every district nationwide a truly non-partisan process to use in selecting one candidate who best represents their views.

If you all haven't been to a GOOOH meet-up, search for a local one in your area on meetup.com and go. The process really has to be experienced to be endorsed whole-heartedly.

I have taken their litmus test for candidates...

What I found was that the questions seem to focus on constitutional knowledge and how well you would follow the constitution were you elected. I think they are a valid patriotic orginization that has mobilized and moved across the nation fast, it is a matter of how effective they have been in their travels that will determine if they are going to be a force, But personally I feel their group is a good one to belong to.

Always remember:
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds." ~ Samuel Adams

Stay IRATE, remain TIRELESS, and set those BRUSH FIRES everywhere you go and in all you do!

Are you gonna...

Are you gonna send them the $100 that they request?

Hmmm...

My analysis based on a quick once-over (you could probably skip 1-4 and just go straight to #5):

1) They claim to be non-partisan
2) They want to kick all the 435 congress rats out and replace them with non-politicians
3) There is some "selection process" to choose candidates
4) Enough people across the country would have to sign up for this thing to get enough voters for it to work -- which I somehow doubt
5) They want you to send them $100 as a first step
