Former Mexican foreign minister calls for ‘North American union’, unified currency

Prolific Mexican politician and intellectual Jorge
Castañeda believes that a greater North American community -- a "North American Union" -- with economies tied together under a European Union-style system, compete with open borders and a unified currency, is the wave of the future.

But I thought the NAU was just a conspiracy theory! HAH!

It is conspiracy theory

And even after it comes to pass (it will), there will be no shortage of masses who are so naive that they're still calling it conspiracy theory.

Those facilitating the NAU will continue doing so, subtly and quietly, just beneath the threshold of grabbing the attention of the collective unconscious, always maintaining some element of plausible deniability, until one of two things happens:

  1. The NAU is gradually established fully without really being noticed by the masses before it's too late to turn back.

  2. The establishment of the NAU by deceptive and encroaching means will take a little longer than its masterminds prefer, so the masses will be shocked into - not just accepting, but demanding - the NAU. If it comes to this it will likely be in conjunction with one or more major terrorist attacks. Keep in mind that a terrorist attack does not always mean destruction of buildings, planes and (directly) bodies. Terrorism takes many forms, including but not limited to: economic, ecological/environmental/agricultural, ideological, political and medical. And 'terrorist' does not always mean a religious extremist outside of our government.

I'm betting on the latter scenario for reasons that are far beyond the scope of this discussion. In either case, if not our generation, then the next WILL find itself being good little citizens of the NAU, and they'll still be calling the NAU a conspiracy.

This is why Perry has to win

How else are they gonna push this idea through? Perry and KBH are taking big campaign contributions from the developers of the TTC.

Voters have to know about the connection between Perry and the NAU.

As an American...

I simply vote "NO" on this.

I'm with you, Ron Paul is

I'm with you, Ron Paul is strongly opposed to a North American Union and any sort of Nafta Superhighway(even if they keep changing the name to throw people off), and I am too.

Isn't the NAFTA superhighway what put Mexican farmers

out of business in the first place? Wasn't there something like 1.2 million farmers in Mexico and then when NAFTA came in, along with the rise of cheap Monsanto GMO commodities, killed the livelihood of the Mexican farmer? Then, the meat packing plants began busing in Mexicans to the US, so they could work with little resistance in the meat plants. I saw the FOOD Inc. documentary and they went into this whole exploitation of the farmer/immigrant vs. big meat co and immigration. These meat packing places make deals with immigration, so they won't lose too many workers to deportation. This is to protect their business from not having enough workers to keep up production/profits.
