Seeing the public revulsion as a ratification of a libertarian economic philosophySubmitted by phathead on Wed, 02/17/2010 - 01:52
David Brooks (NYT excuse for a conservative) very good interview.
Check out the whole vid actually not bad. But if you want inspiration on what needs to be hammered home to the tea party check out the comments Brooks made at 40:14. Like I said the whole interview is interesting. I am not a David Brooks fan by any means but he isn't completely stupid and makes some good points.
THE TEA PARTIERS MUST BECOME ANTIWAR!!!
The "What mistakes can Republicans make?" question comes in at 40:14.
With the hilarious response of:
"By seeing the public revulsion as a ratification of a libertarian economic philosophy[...] well we actually tried that; Gingrich tried a libertarian government so."
I am with Doug Wead. Ron Paul actually has a real shot at winning this thing in 2012. Just get him some charts and graphs and let him Ross Perot his way in. There is a giant window of opportunity here for this movement and we can prove Mr. Brooks dead wrong.
