Seems that CPAC has decided on Romney again (3rd straight year in a row).....

Romney wins CPAC poll again

From NBC’s Domenico Montanaro and Abby Livingston
For the third straight year, Mitt Romney won the CPAC presidential preference straw poll with 20% of the vote. Bobby Jindal finished with 14%, just ahead of Ron Paul and Sarah Palin, who got 13% each.

CPAC over the years has drawn a younger crowd of student activists. (57% of the respondents to the Fabrizio-McLaughlin poll were between 18 and 25.)

Newt Gingrich finished with 10%, Mike Huckabee 7%, Mark Sanford 4%, Rudy Giuliani 3%, Tim Pawlenty 2%, Charlie Crist 1%, and 9% said they were undecided.

Just 55% said they were satisfied with the potential GOP 2012 field; 44% said they wished the Republicans had a better field.

To show just how conservative this crowd was, 95% said they disapproved of the job President Obama was doing -- 80%, in fact, said they “strongly disapproved.”

Of the job Republicans are doing in Congress, 70% said they approve.

The results were announced just before Rush Limbaugh delivered the closing speech to the conference. When the results were announced, a very small number stood up when it was announced Romney had won. They clapped and cheered, but it was a tepid reception.

Opppssss! Sorry, this was last year. The Vegas odds are; however, that Romney does it again this year. The fix is in.

Ron Paul is My President

In the future we must be very careful to NEVER post a functioning link to online polls. Otherwise you are leaving an electronic paper trail that leads directly back to the DP!!! Do we really want them to know that the DP is sending all those ppl to the poll?

Putting a space in the link forces DPers to open a new browser and correcting the URL thereby removing any trace of the DP sending people to the poll. This is extremely important.

I wrote on my hand in high school class debates. So what? Its a handy way to keep points at one's finger tips.

Although I find the hubbub about this rather silly, I don't have pity on Palin. There's something about her that makes me hate her. I can't figure it out.

I mean, I hate Rosa DeLauro because she is a savage monstrosity who's bankrupted our country from end to end and legislated slavery upon us all with her bills.

Palin hasn't done anything. Yet. But I have the same deep loathing for this newcomer as I have for a veteran incumbent soviet taskmaster like DeLauro.

Sarah Palin

is brain dead. She is a moron, I not trying to be mean or rude,it's just true. Has anyone listened to her in any interview. She wrote talking points on her hand for crying out loud. That shows a commitment to preparation, writing things on your hand. She endorsed Perry, that figures. I just hope that doesn't curse Rand Paul. When you think about it though shouldn't she have endorsed the socialist Trey Grayson ? He like Perry is the elitist pick, their yes man,to further screw the public. And she want's to be president ? Good God !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just one last kick in the nuts, then a final deathblow

The difference between Perry and Grayson:

Grayson can't win. It was a pragmatic decision by Palin, and the right one from her perspective.

Some funny comments under that poll...

And we Ron Paul voters are curiously scarce.

My favorite comment, about Palin: "Come on people, this women is not qualified to be a school hallway monitor."

For Liberty.

The DP is proof that the grassroots support for Ron Paul and his peaceful message of individual liberty is large, real, and not going away!

10-15 million more voters need to believe in non-interventionism (liberty) at home and abroad to change America. Minds changed on Syria. Minds changing on privacy. "Printing money" is part of the dialogue. Win minds through focus, strategy.

But it is good to see we've still "got it."
