Here's a short video from former MA Independent/Libertarian senator candidate Joe Kennedy, discussing small government AZ candidate JD Hayworth going against John McCain who is backed by the hypocritical "small government" spokesmen Scott Brown, and Sarah Palin.

That was great
Good to get to know Joe and Hayworth.
Just love the snap of Sarah P
that is exactly how I see her. lol
Will someone post the vid here as well http://www.the912project.us/

Isn't Chris Simcox Still Running?
Shouldn't HE be the one we are talking about???!!!
http://simcoxarizona.com
Simcox....
I was a volunteer on the Simcox campaign, I quit back in September when Chris told me he'd drop out if Hayworth made it official. I couldn't see how he could really believe the things he said he did if he was willing to support a neo-con hack....a dirty one too...remember Jack Abramoff?
I sent out a message to the Simcox fb group, then changed it's name to Jim Deakin for Senate and removed Chris as an admin - and then left myself - I'm too heavily inolved with another campaign right now....
The message I sent - Chris Simcox ended his campaign this week and endorsed J.D. Hayworth, former Congressman and talk show host. While Hayworth talks a good conservative game on the border and other issues, his record shows him to be just another party hack. I may be just another tea party activist, but I won't support retread big government republicans just because they sound good when trying to win my support. I want their actions to back up their words. I supported Chris Simcox for this reason, but Hayworth falls short. From Politics Daily - "Hayworth was supportive of the Bush era's big spending."

So where is my support in this race going to? To the only principled conservative left standing - Jim Deakin.

No
He dropped out and endorsed Hayworth on the day he formally announced.
Where does JD stand
on being against the "war on terra" and for a new 9/11 investigation?
If he's not good on those positions, then I'm not interested.
I'm not interested in ANY candidate that won't stand up against the "war on terra" and won't investigate the scam that led to it.
Because if he's for the "WOT" and against a new 9/11 investigation, he can't be for freedom.
Here is where he stands
From J.D.'s own website:
Both J.D. Hayworth and John McCain supported the surge that worked in Iraq, and both have a record of supporting our men and women in uniform.
But John McCain wants Guantanamo Bay shut down and terrorists moved to the U.S. for trial. J.D. Hayworth supports the mission at Guantanamo Bay and thinks it would be both a mistake and an abomination to award enemy combatants and other terrorists the rights enjoyed by American citizens.
John McCain also wants to tie the hands of our military interrogators by banning enhanced interrogation techniques. J.D. Hayworth recognizes the importance of giving our professionals the tools they need to get the job done. At least four major 9-11 style terror attacks were prevented thanks to information gathered using these techniques, and countless lives were saved.
Of course, no debate over national security can be complete without comparing John McCain’s open-borders, pro-amnesty record with J.D. Hayworth’s effort to secure our borders, defend our homeland, and stop the flow of drugs and violence across our Southern border.

JD Hayworth
I cant' believe JD is just as bad as McCain.
McCain is truly evil. He's serial adulterer, has a volatile temper, is an obvious member of the ruling elite who wants to destroy freedom, grow government, and grow the warfare state, he wants to be in Iraq for the next 100 years (remember his comment?), and he's an out-of-the-closet enemy to the US Constitution.
If JD is remotely close to this, I'd be surprised.
What does surprise me is how Joe Kennedy could say JD is one of us. Has he not done his homework?
The bigger problem, apparently, is that the Liberty movement does not have a candidate to run against McShame. There's no RJ Harris, or Rand Paul, or Jake Towne, or Debra Medina.
The movement is really in its infancy, but growing rapidly. I would imagine in 5-10 years from now there will be tons more Liberty candidates running, all over the nation. I there are NOW, but that number will grow exponentially.

actually, someone is running
actually, someone is running with a more liberty focused platform.

Hayworth isn't perfect but
Hayworth isn't perfect but would be a 1,000,000% improvement over McShame. As has been pointed out, Hayworth is not a party hack but has been more than willing to critizize his party leadership on bailouts & amnesty among other issues. Also keep in mind that McShame doesn't only vote like a RINO except when running for reelection, he wants to remake the Republican Party in his image. That is make it even more of a big government party than it already is. Apparently the Democrat & Green Parties do not offer enough choice on the big government ticket.
Hayworth is really no different...
Hayworth supported all of Bush's big spending when he was a congressman....and he was weak on the border before he was "tough" on it....just like McCain....
"Hayworth's support of Bush's big-government polices included voting for the No Child Left Behind Act; the paperwork- and red-tape-friendly (and business-unfriendly) Sarbanes-Oxley Act; the pork-laden 2005 highway bill that included the infamous "bridge to nowhere"; and, most expensive of all, a Medicare drug benefit that created more than $7 trillion in unfunded liabilities."

No different?
I can't defend Hayworth's votes on NCLB & the Medicare drug benefit other than to point out that McCain also supported NCLB. Like I said, not perfect. However, he has consistently stood strong on border issues opposing both Bush & McCain. He has also been a early & vocal critic of the bailouts that McCain now claims he was duped into voting for.
I received a voting
booklet in the mail. On one page, this Republican issue was talking about what a libertarians in the party must be called. They said apparently they are called RINOs. It had libertarian large in the heading with a big picture of a RINO on the page. We are the real republicans and THEY are the RINOs. Typical propaganda of NwO is to confuse and mix language so that nothing can be pinned down.
hayworth??
You're joking right?
Have you listened to this guy's radio show? He's terrible.
He sucks just as bad as McCain!
Screw hayworth.
i agree
totally
“We have allowed our nation to be over taxed and over regulated and overrun by bureaucrats, the founders would be ashamed of us for what we're putting up with.” Ron Paul
Forget Hayworth....
His record shows him to be just another party hack. Arizona voters dumped him as a congressman because he Stunk. From Politics Daily - "Hayworth was supportive of the Bush era's big spending."
http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/01/27/mccain-challenger-j-...
And then there's his ties to Jack Abramoff.
If Palin and Brown actually believed their own bs about support of small government and candidates that promote that vision, they wouldn't support McCain OR Hayworth - they would support Jim Deakin - http://www.jimdeakin.com/

PALIN is a TOTAL FRAUD...
She and McCrud are part of the crime family of the Bronfman gang from Canada who back International Trade Cartel politicians who loot our life and property. Beware of the latest fraud known as "The Mount Vernon Statement." The statement is good, but some of the urchins who are the original signers are phoney neo-cons.
