Ron Paul Bashing Becoming a Daily Occurrence for MSM/Establishment

Is it just me or is Ron Paul being smeared and attached to other denigrated groups and ideologies almost every day? www.lewrockwell.com I've never seen it this bad. We truly are at the "then they fight you" phase. |

They recognize their is a real battle for the heart and soul of conservativism, and they are trying to co-opt the populist surge.

I Won't Last Long
This is an effort to affect the outcome of the Primaries, in which Ron himself is running and many of his allies as well.
Ron Paul gained a sudden aura of respectability when the economy took its dive as he had predicted. Now, the people are getting used to it and the election is on their minds.
I bet the propaganda shifts again after the Primary and when the economy resumes its fall.
I'm still over at FR a lot...
and things there are worse than ever.
They have to bash RP on nearly every thread, even the ones that have seemingly nothing to do with anything remotely RP.
It is definitely noticable, they doth protest too much.
On the other hand, I think I am noticing more people over there getting sick of the bashing too. The bashers are taking it too far. It may be backfiring on them.
Even the posters who don't really like RP seem perturbed that everything there has to lead to dissing him.
I shall continue to observe.
