I have been..

showing this to every family member, friend, and person that doubted Ron's increase in popularity and chances for 2012.The straw poll alone lifted me up more than any other piece of news when i woke up to see logic rule over ignorance at the CPAC for the first time. The message of civil libierties, non-interventionalist policy, sound money, and honest government will never die with the youth movement. It's sunk in with us, and we aren't letting go.This is going on my myspace with my CFL Banner.Thank you, Ron!

-rEVOLution- Ron Paul 2012

Puts to Bed...

the old slogan..."I like TAFT but he can't WIN." Dr. Ron Paul is second to none as an real American Statesman. No politician sent by the International Trade Cartel can touch his integrity on issues of public importance for the cause of liberty. Onward and upward for Liberty with Dr. Ron Ernest Paul. Even so come 2012...-whzh-

He who sells what isn't his'n, buys it back, or goes to prison!!!...-whzh-

this video keep starting

this video keep starting after 5 minutes on firefox can you please fix it thanks.

Me too!

I've already watched it a couple times.
If I leave this page open while reading other tabs it just starts playing!?

Pass this around

I put it on my Facebook page

While I love Dr. Paul

I don't think that was his best delivery. And additionally I believe that starting every speech with "here are some good Christian people that love him" is contradictory to his position.

If you believe that tolerance is important you wouldn't start with a preconceived/predetermined imposition on people's morals/mores/beliefs/religions.

Believing in a governmental system and economic policy and philosophy is supposed to be separate from religious views and throwing Christianity in like minded conservatives face is countermanding the whole movement.

So, and just so people don't miss the point:

The Bill of Rights prohibits Congress from making any law respecting an establishment of religion or prohibiting the free exercise thereof...

...and prohibits the federal government from depriving any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law.

Just so people understand...that prohibits the U.S. government from denying "ANY PERSON," in other words EVERYONE, be they enemy or friend, the right under the U.S. Bill of Rights, where all the U.S. rights come from, due process.

History does not long entrust the care of freedom to the weak or the timid.
Dwight D. Eisenhower

Government has divided us!

Right on, Ron!

People of every race, religion, preference can all unite under the banner of liberty! We've all seen what happens to our freedoms when we let the government instill fear in our hearts against our fellow citizens, our neighbors.

As a free man I have no need to fear anyone. Everyone is my friend if they are free as well!

He looks good, doesn't he?

I love Ron Paul and I am a Libertarian Socialist

He is a remarkable man. I just hope that people can really see what he is saying. Athiests are Free Intrinsicly, Gays are free Intrinsically, Socialists etc.. all free. Everyone if they are human.. Thus these anti Gay bigots or people telling me I cannot light a bong etc.. they are not conservitives. While I may not compleatly agree economically with him ( I am not Keynsian) I think he is spot on.. I wish thier were more like him Dem and Repub in our government.

Who else except Ron Paul

Would mention Eugene Debs and Dwight Eisenhower in the same speech?

You got it Tim, good for you to

break out of the matrix. Freedom is a BIG tent.

I'm gonna need to watch this

I'm gonna need to watch this one more time...

Stream DOWNLOAD FTW!

It was nice to hear him brag just a little...

He's so modest all the time and it was nice when he gave himself a little credit.

I'm refering to the part about being on Fox news over 60 times since the presidential campaign and his economic predictions.

It felt like he patted himself on the back. Wonderful.

AMEN

no kidding. Been here watching him be humble for a few years. Its nice to tell the neo and tea o... what is making him win.

Duh. Its the message. Not the bullshit.

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

On the verge of tears several times

Truly moving, because it was so truly heartfelt and substantive!

I hadn't taken the time to watch this video until now, ONLY because other essential demands kept me from it!

Now that I've watched it, I know that I HAVE to use as many kinds of portable media as I can find, to pass this along to others!

I am only pausing now to post this first impression.

I'm going to watch it again right now, because it fits in nicely with my study on the Year of Jubilee.

JU'BILEE, n. L. jubilum, from jubilo, to shout for joy; Heb. the blast of a trumpet, coinciding with Eng. bawl, peal, L. pello.

1. Among the Jews, every fiftieth year, being the year following the revolution of seven weeks of years, at which time all the slaves were liberated, and all lands which had been alienated during the whole period, reverted to their former owners.

This was a time of great rejoicing. Hence,

2. A season of great public joy and festivity.

So much to say, for those who have ears...

For my part, whatever anguish of spirit it may cost, I am willing to know the whole truth; to know the worst and provide for it. - Patrick Henry

'Peace is a powerful message.' Ron Paul

Great to hear all the energy!!

Love it!
Love it!
This was a better than average Dr. Paul speech.
I've heard him in person speak better to a bunch
of neocons in Missoula, MT; but this audience was
more fired up than ever.

Ron Paul Flipping young Neocons = Priceless!!

Sitting all around us at CPAC were countless young Neocons. Many were there to hear his message and learn more about our favorite, quirky, yet charismatic congressman. His message was carefully crafted and directed largely at the issue that separates us from most other alleged "Conservatives", a noninterventionist foreign policy. We watched in delight as some that we spoke to before Ron came on, applauded with fervor. He flipped at least two within reach of us. One even said, "I get it now." How many more he touched...only time will tell.

Thanks for sharing that...

powerful stuff! That's what we need.

Amazing.

This speech was incredible! Take that neocons!

"One man with courage is a majority." ~ Andrew Jackson

WOW

What an amazing speech. One of his best

Great juxtaposition

I taped on c-span then watched later. Directly before Dr Paul spoke they had all the young college kids each give 2 min speeches. At times it was very spirited but it made my Soul happy to see them.
Directly after the speech they went to the library of congress and broadcasted the Dalai Lama speak at the Library of congress speech.
It was a Peaceful evening

sent out to my contacts

with the heading

this is what a President sounds like.

can't wait for the replies.

"The two weakest arguments for any issue on the House floor are moral and constitutional"
Ron Paul

Never Seen Ron Paul So Fired Up!

You could tell that Dr. Paul was under a time constraint. You could see the wheels turning in his head. He new the red light would start blinking, forcing him to a 30 minute slot. So, he hit the pavement running and covered a lot of ground - Those neo-cons must be busy today trying to figure out how to stop the education machine of Ron Paul.

i love it!

" ...the education machine of Ron Paul " - !!!

Ron Paul is My President

Critical Critique of this speech

No one is a greater fan of RP than I am, many equal but none greater. Despite that, I am critical of this speech and RP speeches generally. I am not critical of the ideas, only how those ideas are presented.

1. We are the choir/early adopters, we get it mostly because we have more than average background knowledge of what RP addresses in his comments.

2. The people we hope to reach do not have the same type background we have and have been conditioned to only handle dumbed down, simple messages, pounded repeatedly into their heads.

The ideas RP presents are excellent; I believe they can be delivered more effectively to general audiences by:

a. Continually tying what he says to what the Founders said-people can easily attack RP, they cannot easily attack Washington, Jefferson, Franklin,...

The message is the Constitution, the Founders are the revered crafters of the Constitution and wrote extensively about why it is written the way it is written and how to use what was written. By presenting the message as championing these revered originators of the message, rather than leaving it gray as RPs' message or other recent Republicans message, forces any detractors to attack the Founders and it is more acceptable/adoptable by non-Republicans because the Founders are not modern day party partisans.

b. Introduce a simple concept and support it simply. Repeat that with the top most important concepts. Sound Money/Economy-What that is, what the Founders said about it, why they said it, simple examples TODAY that demonstrate how/why unSound Money is creating huge PERSONAL problems for the average US citizen. Repeat with Non-Intervention, the FED. Three concepts max for a long speech, one for a short speech.

Keep it simple, make it personal to the receiver and make it the message of the originators.

c. RPs' speeches in delivery are different from those that are praised for their delivery-Reagan, Clinton and Obama as recent examples of those that connect well with current audiences. RPs' ideas and concepts are the best; he/we would benefit by making an effort to have those great concepts delivered in a fashion more like the great communicators/connectors of our time. Have a quality speech writer work on refining the message into general audience presentation format and have RP with professional assistance work on mimicking the best message deliverers of our time.
