Ron Paul up to 48%!!!
Who should have won???
What kind of a question is that? It makes no sense. Its like asking "Who should have won the Superbowl?" The team that won is the one that should have one.
Anyway, apparently Paul is the correct answer: 47% now, compared to Palin & Romney, tied at 18%.
RP is now 46%

Politico to downplay its own poll.
We, here at Politico, want to remind you that our poll was unscientific and represented voting by a very small fraction of the American people.
We tried to give Mitt Romney or Sarah Palin a chance to contradict the results of the CPAC poll.
Once again Ron Paul supporters were better organized and active in their get out the vote efforts on our poll.
We all know that well organized and active supporters have nothing to do with winning elections.
We, here at Politico, want to remind you that media complicity in supporting establishment candidates and actively denigrating, marginalizing, and ignoring the opponent of the media darling candidate is how elections are won in this country.
Please ignore the results of this poll. When the time comes, we will tell you who to vote for.
P.S. - We are debating whether we should start a new poll that asks the question "Who should have won our "Who should have won CPAC's straw poll?" poll?"
Ron Paul's name will not be on that poll.
no freakin shit
this is EXACTLY what i was thinking!!!!!!!!
