Morning Joe loves Morning Joe
1) Morning Joe wants to keep his political options open.
2) Morning Joe knows being nice to Ron Paul would help him with Ron Paul supporters.
3) Morning Joe knows Ron Paul brings viewers to his program who wouldn't otherwise be there.
4) Ron Paul probably won't ever be president, but he's setting the table for someone who will be, just as Goldwater set the table for Reagan.
Morning Joe would like to be "Reagan".
those are good points. it
those are good points. it could also be that since it is a morning program they don't necessarily want 'gotcha' segments where they try to incriminate guests, it's more of a "hey good morning, lets chat for a couple minutes while we wake up and drink coffee" instead of "why do you believe (blah blah)???"
morning joe LOVES paul
wow, i can't believe how friendly and supportive the morning joe crew is of dr. paul.. it almost makes you forget you are watching msnbc!
For today anyway..
I wonder what changed their minds.
nothing changed their minds
Joe has always been a fan of Dr. Paul. He was one of the few in the MSM who gave him good coverage during the election.
Maybe for the 1 or 2 times he
Maybe for the 1 or 2 times he was on there. Wolf Blitzer far and away gave him the most coverage IMO.

"They used to come get you and lock you up because you were insane, Now they come get you and lock you up because you are sane"
No that wasn't me.

Yes, I will try. Thanx!
Yes, I will try.
Thanx!
Hi Bob!
Yes, the MSM made the most of the audio of the jeering upon the announcement. The RP supporters were not in the room at the time of anouncement due to limited seating but in the halls the cheers were thunderous!!
MSM spin, as usual.

CATCHING ON I'M TELLING YOU!
These Two Interviews
were quite a one-two punch this morning!
Federal Reserve
I really appreciate Ron's persistence in trying to get the Fed audited, because of all the money printing they're doing. Until such time as this happens, I think one of the only ways one can benefit from all the money printing is to invest in gold, and I read a good piece on gold in light of the IMF's decision to sell more of its reserves here:
http://www.goldalert.com/stories/Gold-Price-to-950-Gold-Fundamentals-Revisited
It talks about the supply and demand of gold and debunks a recent report from a brokerage firm (big surprise) that was issuing misleading info on gold.
Great.
How would love to get the video from MSNBC..
Is it available somewhere on youtube ?
Same here.
MSNBC's vids are not mobile-friendly. 2nd plea for YouTube.

Ron Paul: "Romney doesn't quite believe in what I believe in."
The understatement of the year by Ron Paul.
MSNBC lets the Ron Paul news
MSNBC lets the Ron Paul news on because the neo-progs who run it think it will hurt the Republican Party. No one there besides Joe S. likes Ron's smaller, Constitutional government model.
I love Joe Scarborough
The guy has really come around in recent years. Apparently his son is a big Ron Paul supporter as well. Funny how there's more true conservatives on MSNBC with Joe and Pat than on FOX News where the neocons are a dime a dozen.
Depressed - Need a pick up
Guys, I read Rush and Beck's site and I am depressed, yes depressed, over something I read on Limbaugh's site. He makes a sarcastic comment about Paul winning the CPAC poll and states "Ron Paul is the nominee of the party for president, something's gone haywire there. That's not a conservative conference."
So, please tell me, inform me how Ron Paul is NOT conservative. What is Rush's definition or Hannity or Beck's definition of conservative?
It amazes me that Beck can ride the wave of the Tea Parties but doesn't know how they started? Did he think it started with him and his 9/12 project? The revolution was alive a full 1-1/2 years before this.
So, come on people, help me out. Why do these so-called HUGE conservative hosts put Paul and his followers in the crackpot category and REFUSE to consider anything his says to be of the conservative movement.
Just stop listening to these dopes and contact their sponsors...
and let them know why you will not support them because of it! I would suspect there are many Rush and Beck listeners here, and at other sites, who could send a strong message to them! Money drives these dopes and the sponsors supply it to them...Period! If the sponsors are foolish enough to lose that much potential business, then they deserve what they get! Money runs this world right now, not opinion!
"Liberty tastes sweetest to those who fight for it, and most bitter to those who work to deny it!"

The term conservative is bankrupt...
Over the past few years the term conservative appears to have been redefined from a philosophy of being faithful to the Constitution to a philosophy of war mongering, nation building, opposing gay marriage and perpetuating the failed war on drugs. The neo-cons have essentially hijacked the term and made conservatism about destroying the Constitution rather than restoring it.
Don't worry, Limbaugh is a dinosaur and Beck is proving his agenda with the whole Medina incident. They will soon be rendered irrelevant if they arent' already.
No offense but... Who cares
No offense but... Who cares what they think or write?
Those clowns are irrelevant.
The Internet is the new Media... Their voices mean less and less every single day.
head dat
the internet is pretty great. better hope DC never gets its dirty paws involved in regulating it
